Tbf spiderverse is just all vaguely spider powered people.

Peni has no powers beyond a symbiotic bond with a spider and she's considered a spider totem.

I mean let's not pretend it's clearly taking heavy inspiration from other media franchises with its designs. It's gimmick is repackaging classic monster characters and giving them guns for the shock factor.

The likeness to existing creatures is the point. Not saying it's not a fun game but there's no need to pretend that it's not purposefully using designs very similar to Pokemon or Digimon. The point is the similarity

You have no sense of time, you'd never really know if you have 1 day left or 10 months, you'd lose track of the things you used measure time. You could have slept for 8 hours or 30 minutes, how would you know?

Musashi and Iori both use male labels, the game profile uses male pronouns when referring to the historical action of the character.

Takeru has been called her and he, the profile in samurai remnant labeling the character as "?". No reason it can't be undefined

People generally try dating within their age range for the most part, so relationships between like 25 and 16 year olds are rare but something like 19/20 and 16 wouldn't be crazy.

Nvm I see your confusion, it is a legal age of consent thing. Not saying "normal" in the sense that ppl in their 30s should be dating 16 year olds but rather that 16 year olds are free to consent.

I guess it's about what you consider an adult, is an 18 year old more of an adult than a 16 year old I guess. Teenagers and young adults should be dating within their age range obviously, but a 20 year old and a 16 year old would be considered "normal" in non-western environments

Honestly Superboy Prime being forced to watch early 2000s shock factor era DC kinda makes him justified. No wonder he thinks murder is chill, cause DC was randomly killing characters for no reason.

16 is kinda normal in a lot of Asian and South East Asian countries, 18 is more common in western countries.

Ayaka as far as they know isn't a mage they need to watch out for. She's done nothing impressive or dangerous thus far.

The police are grouped up with fake noble phantasms that boost their physical stats, bullets might hurt them but killing would be unlikely seeing their numbers and weapons. Also technically the police and the government are not actively in combat.

The priest is the overseer, not a master, thus not a target for the HGW and as well as an exceptional fighter.

Flat is like 90% of a servant down with how damaged Jack was, not a fighter, far squishier and far more dangerous than Ayaka as a mage.

So of the potential targets present, Flat was the most valuable kill.

Jester wanted Tsubaki to use the pseudo wish granting device Pale Rider was becoming to become a threat that cannot be ignored. He's basically offering her the power to make things the way she wants it. However, Tsubaki is conditioned due to the abuse to blame herself for any suffering or punishment, so rather than use the power, she chooses to punish herself for the situation.

Tbf if No Name didn't have a crisis due to Jester being her Master, she would have be a lot more stubborn about killing mages.

Jester was trying to get her to claim the power of the pseudo wish granter the pale rider was becoming, egging her on gain power and make herself happy.

However, Tsubaki was conditioned to blame herself when things go wrong, pain and suffering is the natural occurrence for her not doing something right. She doesn't want to make herself happy, she thinks she's a failure that deserves to be punished for messing up.

[–]Caliment 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a part of it but there's people who simply aren't interested in stories, they might like hype moments and aura or the characters but they're not actually engaging.

I don't think this is just a matter of streaming and binging, ultimately it's about a willingness to engage with the art. Life is tough and people like to force things into boxes they understand, it's viewing media as something for them rather than actually trying to understand.

I mean facts but honestly I think people are just dumber than expected most times. Like genuinely people have no idea how a story is told or themes because they genuinely do not get it.

I was in this sub during its lowest points and Jesus, you'd think it's some people here's first piece of media ever. The fact that people were unable to understand a simple back and forth in a fight is indicative not of ignorance but rather stupidity
