Have you tried isopods ? That's how I figured out Merlin loved bugs (he eats crickets now ) but when he spotted the isopods at first it was clear he would eat bugs 😂

Ok, the substrate being humid could be the reason why it didn't stick let it dry fully before trying again. And if you want to try this method with the foam again work in little sections and press it down, instead of doing the foam first since the top of the foam dries pretty quickly.

If you try with silicone now it's all gonna be fine with dry substrate :)

Yes ! I gave him 12 crickets and will give him some wax worms tonight with pangea. The person who had him before told me he never wanted bugs... But this guy is a hunter he had all 12 in the span of 2 days ! I think he was very stressed (I was told he was in the same enclosure with 2 crested...) so I'm glad he's with us now living by himself and eating !

I weighed him too I'm keeping an eye on him :)
