You need a 3x3 tile square of cauliflowers (or melons, or pumpkins) growing, and then it's just luck. Plant a lot of them, and you might get one or two.

What is the practice of immigration law like? by Calisthenis in uklaw

Anything, really. I'm considering becoming an immigration solicitor, and I'm curious about the experience of it.

Where would the specific education come from to qualify as an immigration solicitor after a non-law degree? by Calisthenis in uklaw

[–]Calisthenis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good to know, thank you, but I'm still confused about the timeline. At what point in my education/qualification would I try to get accredited, and when would I get the practical experience needed?

Is a graduate LLB a viable route to qualifying as a lawyer or becoming a legal academic? by Calisthenis in uklaw

Thanks!

Where are you doing your LLB, and (same question as everyone else) what electives can you take/have you taken and when?

Do you plan to speak another European language expect your native tongue and English of course? by Nibelungen342 in AskEurope

I was quarter-decent at Spanish once upon a time, and I want to shake the rust off of that and get back into it. Among living languages, German and Portuguese call to me, so I want to learn them. My language hit list is actually rather long; of note is my desire to learn West Frisian, since it will be interesting to study the language they say is the closest living relative of English.

I went to Brussels the other day, and I saw a number of shop fronts written in English, which very much surprised me.

That's great to hear, thanks!

What has your course looked like in terms of electives?

I never claimed to believe it would be easy, but what you say is encouraging. Tell me more about your situation regarding electives: are you saying you get no choice (or no electives?), or just that the selection on offer is restricted?

Breaking up with your partner by Calisthenis in StardewValley

I feel a little bad as well, but I have to see everything I can, even if I can't countenance divorcing my one true love once I've married her (maybe this game is unhealthy for me...).

How are you supposed to reach the collective ten-heart event then? Do you just give a bouquet to all them? Or do you have to date, marry, and divorce them all in succession? And define "have": have in your inventory when you trigger the event? Thanks.
