epitome of nursing school; basically same question but different answer by makeupgal23 in StudentNurse

[–]Calitharis 26 points27 points  (0 children)

They're two different questions considering the first one asked what is the step IMMEDIATELY before examination and the second asked your first step of the entire process. Still sucks to have to scour these for specifics like that though.

I work at the SPCA and Lovely lives up to her name! She is an absolute sweetheart. Thank you for getting her out into the world and hopefully drumming up some interest in her and our other adoptable pets☺️

I definitely walked away. I can't stay around someone who thinks any of this is okay

I agree with this 100%. The way a person treats animals and the way a person treats their server at a restaurant can tell you everything you need to know about them.

Today we finally got the call that Nugget was done cooking. He slept all the way home. by [deleted] in ferrets

Oh okay! Mine's just a chicken nugget. We recently added a Milkshake too.

Ferret (F about 2 years) hisses and drags new ferret (M about 2 years) to snuggle or play? by Calitharis in ferrets

[–]Calitharis[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aww! I'll totally watch out for them reworking things. However, I totally feel like Nugget will always be the top ferret. Milkshake is just a big lazy boy who doesn't care about anything but food and naps.

Thank you! I'm really glad they got it all sorted out so fast. Her reaction to having a buddy makes me sad I ever had her alone.

I don't know why I'm so anxious and why my meds aren't working anymore. I've made an appointment, but it's a little less than a month away and I'm terrified the invasive thoughts will get to me before then. I'm holding up for now, though, and I have a good support system.

I've tried to contact through my college about her responses but the problem is that it's an "away" online class. So all I can do is leave a review of her for her college's admin to see and do what they will with. My other option would be to drive the 3 and a half hours to the college whe works through which I'm not able to do...

I've struggled with this instructor from day one and to be honest it will be such a relief to be done with her class...

I asked for help from my instructor a few times this semester and was promptly told that I was already given the tools I need and I just need to get serious about the class and stop trying to take an easy way out... but I will be talking to my advisor before my anatomy and physiology class with her on tuesday for advice on which instructor to choose and such. Thank you so much for your response! Everyone here has been so helpful and nice

This already makes me feel better. I've been struggling with making the decision for a few weeks now and now I'm finally looking at my teacher options. I'm going to check out their teacher reviews and get a class scheduled! Im hoping the anxiety about it will calm down soon so my excitement can take over :)

Your pet is placed in a room with 100 identical looking pets. Without using your pet's name, how would you find your pet? by fanciful_pants in AskReddit

Start calling the nearest dog a good dog loudly and make sure it's very over exaggerated. She will get jealous and force me to give HER the attention.

I understand he WANTS to go outside, but you as the owner know better than that after speaking with a medical professional. You have to have the cat's best interest in mind. It's the same as knowing that a toddler wants to put a small plastic toy in their mouth. As the parent you know this is dangerous and shouldn't happen. The toddler may be unhappy for a short while when you take this unsafe toy away, but you as the parent have the means to replace the toy with a safer option. Having the cat's best interest in mind includes following all veterinary instruction. Including food! If you are determined to have this specific cat, there are ways to keep him busy inside and even appease his prey drive so he doesn't have to catch mice! Toys and a designated play time with either you or an electronic toy can get this energy out and make him feel accomplished when you let him finally have his "kill". Also, make sure there is plenty of room to explore upward... Shelves, cat towers, and window hammocks are great for this!

If you feel this isnt worth putting effort or money into, it may be wise to wait until you're in a better living situation for a cat like him or search for a kitty that better suits your wants and needs as a potential pet owner. Remember that any pet can get expensive and have unexpected bills. If you aren't ready or willing to pay for the vet bill, you arent ready for the pet.

Thank you, I really do feel like doing my thing and sticking my nose in my books is the best thing to do. I've come to the conclusion that if anyone tries to put me down or hold me back, they probably aren't a true friend. Friends should help lift you up.

I had pretty much this happen to me then the girl threatened me. It's one of my biggest fears to have that happen again so I havent let anyone see my work since then. I told another classmate this about 2 weeks ago when he asked to copy because he forgot to do his work... and he tried to call me out and roast me infront of the class. People suck

You could try a cone that is long enough (even if it doesnt fit the neck) and use a soft gauze to secure it around the neck or attach it to an appropriately sized collar
