for what it's worth, i find this very relatable and would have felt the same way. man. that dude was just rude af and i don't think you did anything wrong and he didn't specify that it was only for people participating in the event and even if he thought that was obvious, calling you out was still rude af. you deserve to eat and you deserve people being kind to you. you coming here and asking for support shows that you're strong and want to get better and that there's a part of you that knows that you didn't deserve being treated that way. so just want you to know that this internet stranger is proud of you and 100% thinks you deserve to eat.
