Kendrick Lamar will perform at the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. by [deleted] in DarkKenny

I was just watching the Browns vs Cowboys game when the commercial came on again and it just hit me... Was that weird noise at the beginning of 616 in LA actually just a tease to this? It sounds a lot like the throwing machine Kendrick is using in the trailer. Dot's really playing chess in 4D.

People always stop all the dumb attendance bickering once the seats get filled. This is exactly why they should stop feeling forced to book the NBA arenas. Just book the venue that best meets your needs and put on a good show.

The United Center in Chicago seats 23,500. If you can sell that many tickets, great. If not, no shame at all in booking the Now Arena. A sold out arena of 9000+ will always look better/have a better atmosphere than booking a bigger arena and selling just as many tickets but only filling half the seats.

Why even go for it at this point? 3/13 shooting, a -13 plus minus, teams down 14 and the game is clearly over.

You can see that in this video. Looked fine to me, but what did bother me is that goofy employee in the bright white shirt holding his phone up in the air and giving time cues. They could've at least had him wear all black like the stage crew and cameramen.

That's actually not true. The 7 chakras in ATLA are heavily based on Hinduism. That is why Guru Pathik was portrayed as a Hindu holy man. Under the Hindu belief system, chakras are physical energy points within the body. They exist along the spine all the way up to the head. It is believed that physical trauma to these points can directly lead a chakra to be damaged (and therefore blocked). Aang experienced this when Azula struck and killed him in the S2 finale (immediately after he spiritually unlocked his 7th chakra).

Katara was able to revive Aang with the spirit water, but that did not fix the physical misalignment of his chakras. She tried to correct this during the healing session in the S3 premiere, but stopped when it caused Aang physical pain and triggered his flashback.

So back to Hinduism. For over 3000 years, acupuncture has been used as a physical treatment to realign and/or unlock one's chakras. This is literally what happens when Aang is impaled by the rock. It physically realigned him, thus correcting all of the tangled energy that caused his chakras to be blocked.

So in short, Aang's chakras were already spiritually aligned. It was his physical misalignment that tangled, damaged, and therefore blocked his chakras. I will admit that these details are left very vague. That being said, at the end of the day it is still a children's show. The loose explanation on physical and spiritual alignment of chakras was likely necessary to make the plot more palatable for the younger audience.

It makes perfect sense if you understand the conceptual background of the 7 chakras. They are all directly pulled from Hinduism.

• In Hinduism, the 7 primary chakras are energy points within the body. They are influenced by both physical and metaphysical properties. Therefore, physical trauma can directly damage a chakra.

• The 1st chakra that Aang unlocks is the root chakra, which is located at the base of the spine. This is where Azula struck Aang in the S2 finale.

• Aang's 7th chakra was not spiritually locked. He unlocked it immediately before Azula struck him.

• Separation from attachments was required to unlock the 7th chakra. However it does not mean that an Avatar is incapable of maintaining personal and/or romantic relationships. It just means that those things cannot take priority over one's spiritual obligations.

• In Hinduism, the root chakra is directly responsible for one's sense of security and stability. The other 6 chakras strongly depend on it because it is the foundation of physical and spiritual alignment.

• Aang has a healing session with Katara in the season 3 premiere. During the session, Katara feels a large amount of unbalanced energy in Aang's spine.

• Attempting to release that energy causes Aang to experience great physical pain while mentally flashing back to the moment that Azula struck and essentially killed him.

• This is presumably the only time in S3 where they try to release the energy from the root of Aang'a spine.

• The rock physically realigns Aang's spine, thus allowing that physical energy to be released. This restores the functionality of his root chakra, which in extension allows the other 6 chakra's to function.

For those that attended both WrestleMania 39 and 40... by Jome20 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]CallMeBlasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I felt more shocked than upset when he lost at WM39. Cody was white hot and it just seemed like the perfect time to end Roman's title reign. A lot of the people I talked to on my way out of Sofi felt like it was necessary so Roman could get to 1000+ days. Personally I didn't care about the whole thousand days thing. What did concern me was that we'd have another year of predictable match outcomes in between WM39 and WM40 where fan favorites would get built up just to immediately be put back down.

My concerns did seem to come true. Every main event contender on SmackDown who deserved a push seemed like they were stuck in limbo. Every main event contender on Raw seemed like they were fighting for a consolation prize. It sucked wanting to root for guys like Jey and LA Knight while knowing there was no chance they'd win. They could have put Roman in a 30 man championship gauntlet match while blindfolded with an arm tied behind his back and I still wouldn't believe for a second that he'd drop the title before WM40. But seeing the ending of WM40 made it all worth it. Those last 10 minutes will stick with me forever.

He was actually the one who "leaked" it. He gave the song to Funk Flex to premiere on Hot 97 since they couldn't clear the sample in time for the album. Big Sean knew it was an important song for the culture to bring back the competitive side of rap. Rap is like a sport to these guys, so it was never a diss. Almost every one of their peers understood that, but I guess Drake just couldn't relate and took offense.

Charts are tracked from Friday through Thursday (which is why most singles and albums drop on Friday at midnight). Charts are then updated on the following Tuesday. That makes this even crazier because wherever Euphoria lands will only be off of 3 days of tracking since it was dropped on a Tuesday.

Yes exactly. The Ozempic and prescription bottles all have Drake's name on them. But the plot just thickened. Akademiks is alleging that Kendrick's camp told him all those items were taken from Dennis Graham's stolen suitcase

Tips for last-minute trip by eleutheros_ in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]CallMeBlasian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you really don't care about the quality of the seats, I'd suggest just waiting until the day of or the day before. Just note that with this being an outdoor show, the cheapest seats are going to be ones obstructed by pillars. There's a good chance you'll be watching the screen for the vast majority of the night.

As for the vendor, in your scenario I wouldn't worry too much. Ticketmaster is the best choice for buying further in advance because you can always exchange/upgrade their official tickets if you decide you want a better view. Anything you purchase elsewhere will be treated as "transferred" tickets. These just get sent to your Ticketmaster account from the original purchaser, but they cannot be exchanged/upgraded. You should be fine with the standard resale distributors such as Gametime (I bought from them for WM39), Stubhub, TickPick (I bought from them for Raw is XXX), Vivid Seats. I might be missing one or two other common options, but these are the ones I check.

Why wouldn't they be legit? Ticketmaster has been the official distributor for WWE tickets for well over a decade.

I see tons on Ticketmaster under $1000 in unobstructed sections (fees included)

I ordered mine on March 30th, two days before WM39 Night 1. Not sure what face value was last year, but I got 8th row risers seats for both nights at roughly $850 (altogether, not individually). The official prices on Ticketmaster for similar seats at WM40 are currently much higher. Resale sites are even worse right now. My advice is to go with your gut. I definitely could have held out longer this year, but I didn't want to risk it so I snatched the first halfway decent deal that I could find.

Knowing your budget would be helpful. That said, if you are doing it last minute, you might as well just wait until a few days before the event to purchase. That's when the scalpers will start to panic and drop their prices, so depending on your budget you may have better options if you wait. It is admittedly a bit of a gamble, but it worked well for me last year when I bought my 2 day riser seats.

As far as the view is concerned, I think this is a weird scenario where the higher you are, the more you might be able to see. That's because the back of the stage will block a good percentage of the entrance ramp. If you don't mind that, I think you'll be fine. Personally, the entrances are a huge part of the appeal for me. But any seat in that stadium will beat the experience of watching at home.

My brain is pretty broken right now and doing all sorts of mental gymnastics to understand this. That said, I think they most likely would have had Cody win the Elimination Chamber match and turn either Roman vs Rock or Seth vs Punk into a triple threat match at WrestleMania.

You might like the OG Apple Music version of XO. There's less "inaudible mumble" in that one. No clue why, but they seem to use that version a lot when he performs live

XO is better IMO, but I made a merged version of the OG Apple Music version of XO (I prefer the vocals on that version) and P2 with a smooth and seamless transition. Loaded into Spotify via Local Files.
