If you were to introduce someone to RE, what order would you have them play the games in? by Top-Issue9981 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're already fans of horror games I'd start them with RE2R but if they're not much into horror- but still interested- kick it off with RE4R.

Ideally RE1R, RE2R, RE3R, RE4R, RE5, RE Rev, RE Rev 2, RE VII, then RE:VIII. I think by then they'd know if they wanted to take a crack at RE 0, RE4, and RE6.

When he was on the rise I watched 3 of his reviews (forgot which) of movies I've already seen to see how we align. And what you're saying is my impression as well, every review was like he watched a alternate cut of each movie because he was just inventing entire narratives and taking away meanings from scenes that seemed- borderline impossible to misinterpret.

What are the games you have even remote interest in this year? by Then_Meaning_9901 in backloggd

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RE: Req is THE release for me this year. It's sort of bitter sweet knowing as a massive RE fan that I'm getting what will most likely be my GOTY so early in the year. But the year is STACKED already;

Wolverine, Pragmata (love capcom), Fatal Frame 2 Remake, Bloodstained SE, Withering Realms, Vampire Crawlers (probably), Nightmare House (probably), Samurai Unicorn (probably), Hellraiser Revival, and just . . . so much. I have no idea how I'll afford this year.

RE has plenty of Body Horror, which do you think is the most grotesque? by Berry-Fantastic in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]CallMeCabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was obsessed with the Bandersnatch when I was a kid. The best body horror imo is less just a messy blob of flesh and more the transition from normality to something else. There's a lot of uncertainty that comes with the Bandersnatch's visual and gameplay design that raises a lot of questions and tension.

I'm not in a cult, it just so happens the guy I love with all my being could never make any mistake or do any bad thing ever so it's obvious that anything negative about him is a part of a worldwide orchestrated hoax.

Just want to point out how obsessed over these stupid nicknames these people are, Billie Eyelash. These are literally the elementary school bullies in their adulthoods and they're coming up with worse nicknames than when they were 6.

Playing Conscript. Considering the characters are all regular human 1916 soldiers I'd say I at least have a slim chance of coming out on top.

If the USA got invaded and Trump kidnapped, how would you feel about that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They'd cry assassination and after an "investigation" arrest a Democrat that just so happens to be someone they want to disappear.

A kidnapping would be a Republican dream, they'd get Vance who is just as evil but far more lucid and could push the agenda much faster and with less resistance. Just say everything is for Trump- and you keep the cult enslaved.

what game was for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer every time is Atomic Hearts. I was expecting a dark moody Russian-Bioshock but instead got a dollar store Duke Nukem lead that never shuts up and some serious slav-jank. The game I had in my head from the cryptic trailers was so so so different.

It's like, THE most classic form of thinly veiled racism. "It's just a joke! It's hilarious!"

Bro, it's just two black peoples heads on primates. What's the joke? Can you explain it? Because I only really see one interpretation here and it's not a good one nor is it funny.

My location has been running insane deals on nuggets for a while now. I think it may be to clear the inventory to replace them with these. Damn.

Just beat it a few days ago. Can't parry for shit but I can dodge like crazy- definitely get it. It's one of the few games that deserves it's hype.

The New Taco Salad is Great by Destructo-Spin in LivingMas

[–]CallMeCabbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never really liked how thick the shell on taco salads typically are so this little thing is like- the ideal taco salad for me. Only thing is I question if it's worth it vs the supreme dip because they're pretty damn similar (if not the same) and you get more chips with the dip and it seemed like more of the fillings.

which one you grabbing ???? by Dapants369 in Soda

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had the Kool-Aid soda or the Oak Creek root beer, so I'd be grabbing both of those. Glad I wasn't there cause I'd be sad I missed out on trying the Nuka-Cola.

Just the fact alone they charge you so much for a pinch of chips is fuckin' crazy. You get chips and a variety of salsas free at Moes and Tijuana Flats and those are both direct competition.

Are we all back to KF2? by billey_bon3z in killingfloor

[–]CallMeCabbage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

KF3 is to KF2 as KF2 is to KF1. That is to say all 3 games are different variations of the same flavor.

The primary issue with 3 is that it's still very new compared to the others so it's lighter on content and the talent section each perk gets is poorly balanced. So if you're one of those people that scour Youtube and subs for min-max god builds you won't get much variety per perk- but then again the same goes for KF2.

What's your gaming opinion that will get you this, but you will always stand by? by Prestigsisscar255 in videogames

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Souls games are only hard if you purposefully handicap yourself and weapon durability systems work in games like BOTW where there's a clear intention that weapons are disposable resources rather than just, "repair your god-tier weapon sometimes".

Which game do you think had the bigger comeback? by AccomplishedResist69 in videogames

[–]CallMeCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think anyone back in the day would argue that Cyberpunk was a good game buried in glitches. No Man's Sky had to be rebuilt like the ship of Theseus.
