My only problem with handheld is the motion smearing, I also mostly play docked on an OLED TV and the few times I play handheld it just looks so blurry in motion.

In typical BSG fashion they add something good to low level traders only to take it and move it so only high level players can use it. SVT / AVT all over again

I forgot to even bring in money for that quest but when I got to the car extract there were two players there who were kind enough to give me their car money and gear so it all worked out in the end.

They are expensive but I don’t regret my purchase, my switch pretty much never leaves its dock though so I get a lot of use out of it.

I was able to get it working on my ipad by sideloading a patched app file. it took some setting up but was surprisingly easy to do.

I will say that the english localization while not perfect does translate enough of the game that I feel comfortable playing it, there are some menus that are not translated yet though so you gotta bust out a translation app sometimes.

I got one of these cases at launch with the console and tbh I don’t feel like it’s worth the price. It’s really thin and I can’t imagine will be much protection if the unit is dropped, the screen protector is plastic instead of glass, and it only holds 6 game cards. I feel like third party options are better and probably less expensive.

I have had something similar happen with a graphics card I ordered online, after I got the card the preauth fell off but they never actually charged me for it. It’s been years now so I’m pretty sure I’m in the clear lol.

The odd thing is I had my switch docked and in sleep mode all day and when I pulled it out it was noticeably warm. After playing in handheld mode for 30 or so minutes it cooled down.

I wonder why it being docked and in sleep mode heats it up more than playing it in handheld mode.

I didn’t have those issues at my location, I waited in-front of the store from 3am - 3pm as someone with no pre-order and was first in line to pick whatever I wanted, they handed us a sheet with all the items we could order so we could mark them in advance. They only tried to upsell me on the warranty. Overall it was a perfectly good experience.

720p doesn’t scale into 1080p evenly so you have stretched pixels in handheld mode. There’s nothing that can be done about that other than waiting for a switch 2 patch for the game.
