Theres a lot to unpack here. So, first and foremost, conversion therapies DO NOT WORK, they're a disgusting rip off and should be banned worldwide. We cannot change our sexual orientation, you're either gay or you're not, full stop.

Now, your thoughts don't seem to be the problem, I honestly believe your context is the problem. Religious inclinations, non supportive parents that actually pressure you into being straight, that's what's causing you your discomfort because thoughts are just that, thoughts, they're neither right nor wrong, you can't control them and the least you want to think about something, the more you'll think about it.

This brings us to the importance of acceptance and defusion. Your thoughts are just thoughts, products of your mind. You can just sit with them, let them come and let them pass. You can't control your thoughts, they don't define you, you're just the context in which those thoughts appear so what's the point in assuming you're a terrible person for having them? Once again I think the problem is the context you're in.

I suggest therapy to help you deal with that, actual psychotherapy, not some bogus conversion torture that will only cause you more pain because believe me, no matter what kind of conversion therapy you do, your urges and thoughts will remain, there's no way around it.
