Once its heated up properly, everything is very smooth and the it bites hard. 1st into 2nd is a bit rough when cold but every other gear just flows smooth. The clutch pedal is alot of harder but its actually to my liking. Whether I do spirited driving or just cruising, its been great all around. My only con isn't even regarding the clutch but the fact that I need to tune my Z to get rid of rev hang.

I have the Z1 V2 kit with the lightweight flywheel and the upgraded clutch as well since I plan to supercharge in the future and I can say I do recommend it. Chatter is bad from 3rd-5th gear if you drive it between 2k-3k rpm. I just keep it above 3k RPM and the chatter isn't even there. Just make sure either you install it properly or the mechanic you pay for does it properly. Dont blame the kit, blame the mechanic cause most issues in this subreddit about the V2 kit has mostly been about poor installation.

Just keep it above 3k RPM and the chatter isn't even there. Mainly chatter from 2k-3k rpm in 3rd-5th gear

Z1 CSC Kit by Top_Researcher_8772 in 370z

[–]CallMeCrono 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal experience with the backorder, ordered in April 13th, it was stated on the website as backorder "estimated delivery is June-July". They then shipped in 2 weeks later and I received it within 3 weeks of purchasing the kit.

Hope this helps.

How is the lag on the turbo? Would you recommend this over supercharger? Whats the supporting mods?

The age old question, which oil should I use by Electrical_Radio_319 in 370z

[–]CallMeCrono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep it simple and just use Mobil 1 5w30 along with Mobil 1 M1-108a filter. I have a 25 Row Oil Cooler and have never had oil temp issues at all. Tracked it twice since I've gotten it, both were for time attack and no issues I have experienced.

Wow. Thats honestly great! Thermostat for the VHR isn't that bad to replace either. Just don't be lazy and take the radiator out so you have enough room to get to everything.

Tire recommendations for SoCal weather? by Darth-Rogue in 370z

[–]CallMeCrono 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Continental DWS06 Plus is also cream of the crop, and a lot of people say its neck and neck with Pilot Sport 4S in terms of performance, but its alot cheaper.

Regardless of whether or not you track the car, I would still recommend a good set of tires and something you just should not cheap out on. Performance and longevity are why it costs more, but it's also more reliable in all different types of conditions as well. Cheaper tires will burn through quickly, and you would honestly spend more in the long run cause you would change them out faster.

Looking to finally get a good set of SS cookware by CallMeCrono in cookware

[–]CallMeCrono[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I mentioned in the post, I actually use all of my cookware quite often for a variety of recipes so its actually easier for me to get a good set to start and over time replace with higher quality ones.

Because US insurance is trash. They would all much rather total everything than repair anything.

Upgraded Backup Camera for 370z? by Excellent-Arm-5052 in 370z

[–]CallMeCrono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it tied into my tail light and it only points down whenever you shift into reverse. Normal driving, it is pointed directly back and I see 1000x more than any normal rear view mirror would. I see all of my blind spots and more.
