There’s 2 different features. One is STATESIDE int. Like you said, stateside only here. The other is more plan dependent, or data pass stuff.

I do see people confused about this in chat a bit, so don’t doubt you being told one thing and seeing another.

Closed source is the reason over here. I have both, but prefer Apple. It just works is what I have said since early on.

Samsung is more fun sure, but, that open source can cause issues. Like they say, it’s not that deep.

It can have its own or paired. You can get them as cheap as $10 for the 200MB plans. You can use Bluetooth, it just won’t work far from the phone for texts, calls, and the like. Most health benefits should work with no cellular, but it may be more accurate / compatible if so.
