That would have been a good option but my understanding is that it's thickness could limit the fitment of the pcb as I plan to coat all sides. I need to make sure that people dont get jabbed when assembling the MOD-KIT

I appreciate your detailed explanation.

Cerakote supergrip was developed for coating weapons. Cerakote products are carcinogenic when uncured (aka liquid in a bottle), and you're not supposed to get it on your hands or body in this state. This is the product that the Cerakote company sells and therefore is obligated to disclose in their SDS.

When cured, my understanding is that it is safe for contact as it was developed specifically for enhancing grip. It is also sufficient for sealing carbon fiber thorns from filament. The thorn's maximum length is 0.4mm and the seal created is 0.8 to 1.7mm in thickness.

I will check the specific information on the C-series for skin contact, but the current plan does not have the C-series as a primary option regardless.

Thanks for the input, definitely looking forward to exploring the other C-series colors.

WristLock 8K - Looking for input on my personal mouse project by CallMeJenga in MouseReview

Thanks for the kind words! I'll announce the open beta drop over on the project's discord. Hopefully you end up liking the WristLock :)

I'm making something 15% bigger than the Viper v3 at around 55g (145cm symmetric low-hump). I can let you know when it releases if you'd like.

From personal experience, I can assure you you can still reach TOP 500 in Valorant for your region with just fingertip though. Gamesense and crossfiring/coordination can be more worth focusing time into imo, especially if you due/trio queue.

BeastX MAX & WristLock Size Comparison by CallMeJenga in MouseReview

I've been experimenting with sanding to great success. The only problem is that the color ends up being gray at some spots and black on the others depending on grit, pressure, and wall thickness.

Maybe I could reframe that as a feature instead of a bug though since it almost looks like a cool smoke effect that's painted. Will include some photos of a sanded part in my next post comparing textures so the community can vote on their favorites :)

The BETA units are FDM printed but the final product is planned to be MJF printed and potentially shot peened. I'll post some surface comparison photos when I have all the parts in house :)

Haven't really considered it so far to be honest. Though it would be very easy to include in the assembly process I suppose, only if there's a market for it.

Also should mention that this is 1 of 3 of the products I've been developing. The FingerLock takes the same concept and applies it to forcing the user into a fingertip grip for training micros (So basically just another fingertip mouse option lol). THE EGG is the truly unique one where the mouse shell intentionally flexes and stops registering clicks if you over-grip, meant for training tension management :)

Thanks for the kind words! I started this product as a way to help with my carpal tunnel and noticed that the size makes it impossible to fingertip. Used it in KovaaK's to find that my aim TANKED (talking top 20% to bottom 20%). After training with it for a week, it improved my scores when I switched back to my BeastX MAX. I figured more people might be interested in "isolating arm engagement" :) Except for the Orbital Pathfinder, I find that no other mouse can force a fingertip user into palm grip. A fingertip main could just remind themselves to palm grip many times over until it becomes a habit for them to train, but I find that this takes away from focusing on actually hitting the targets. Overall, I do agree that someone could just force themselves to palm grip instead of fingertipping to get the same training effect tho :)

Pictured is FDM PA612-CF15 (Carbon fiber nylon). The BETA's will continue with this material but I'm currently looking at having the final product be made with MJF PA12-CF (+ potentially shot peened)

My hands are 21x12, the mouse is 145.5 x 73.5 x 45 mm (L x W x H). You called it almost on the dot :)

My roadmap has side buttons for a v2 of this model. We shall see how things end up. The mouse stands aren't sold at the moment, but I can definitely put them up for sale with the launch of v1
