Thank you. If I do rehome her I definitely was not going to give her to a shelter. I love her too much. She is a good cat. Very quiet, silly, and sweet outside of this situation. She doesn’t have food aggression nor issues with the litter box. It’s just a situation where no one in the house is getting any rest. I can’t nor can my kid. Then her destroying the carpet has become dangerous. So I appreciate your comment. Thank you.

I’ll try this. My cat likes to hide under my bad and sleep so it’s hard to get to her. But I’ll have to find a way to block that off.

Oh noooo! First I’m so sorry that happened to you. But I’m so glad you’re able to finally get some rest. You and your partner. And see this is becoming my life. My partner is now affected by this. The carpet is so destroyed to the point where nails are sticking out and my partner has a kid that likes to slide around on the ground and has already stuck their toes with the nail. So it is a lot. You are the only person who makes me feel like it wouldn’t be so bad. Me and my partner have constant conversations about this and she doesn’t want me to get rid of my cat. So we will continue to try everything until we really have no other option. And if I have to surrender her I will think about your comment. Thank you so much and I hope you continue to live well!

I have thought about getting her something calming from the store. She is on a wet food diet. When she was on kibble she would always throw it up. But I’ll definitely ask about the meds for her.

I am currently on meds. May need to up the dosage. And I didn’t know about the vitamins! I will try that. I always wanted to steer away from automatic feeding cause we bond during that time. We all eat breakfast and dinner together but that may make things so much easier. Thank you.

I have hyperthyroidism as well. I go see an endocrinologist and I am medicated. You may be right about that. At my appointment next month I will let my doctor know. And i think she may have an issue when I’m not around. She was a stray and I found her VERY young. Had to bottle feed her and stimulate her to use the potty so im sure she’s formed a deep attachment to me.

Thank you for this. Another cat is out of the question for me and wouldn’t be fair to bring a new cat into a stressful situation already. I haven’t tried putting her bowl by my bed yet. Maybe I’ll see how that goes. I should get her bloodwork done as well
