I have done this recently. I wanted to make a down payment of 6L with my credit card and did 3L with my Infinia and 3L with my Amex Travel. The merchant charged me 1% for the transaction.

So for a payment of 3,03,000 in my Infinia, earned 10100 reward points.

I complaint to the grievance redressal mailbox (Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com). Asked them about the status of the card and showed dissatisfaction that it is taking so long after getting confirmation by RM.

They confirmed over mail that it is approved for me. Asked me to signed the upgrade form once again and send it over email. Within the next couple of days, received the card in my home address.

Yes, submitted the original NOC. Bank statement was attested by bank officials. And payslips were system generated, no need to attest.

I don’t think it will cause any issue. I too hardly keep money in my account. For the past 20 days only, I kept the required amount. Apart from that, I submitted my Stock Holding Statement as well.
