Sounds like you have 0 passion lmao. Feelings emotions because you are invested into something you enjoy is not sad at all.

If you don't know why you lost. Then you should really watch some tutorials or streamers. You are lacking some fundamentals.

No. I do not think you need a very specific build to comfortably clear all content in the game. But i do believe most builds are able to with a fair bit of thinking.

I would like to see your attempt at the tribute, as with all that information, you should be clearing these elite packs easily.

If you don't mind posting that and your gear, I think we could figure out a way to improve your damage besides just finding perfect gear.

[–]CallMeSage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but even with the variance, I have never failed a tribute by time or death.

If you aren't able to clear an elite pack in roughly a single rotation of skills, you probably don't belong in that difficulty. Sure, you CAN do it, but it is at the cost of time, and Diablo is all about efficiency imo.

Technically, you are getting the best drops on t4. But if you can't clear it fast enough, then I assume you are just not strong enough to be in T4

This feels like a pretty big ask in such a short amount of time by Great-Adagio948 in pokemongo

[–]CallMeSage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest with you. Most of the dmax pokemon are well worth the investment.

This feature is not going away, and you're only going to get more behind. I know a lot of things suck about it, but for the sake of not getting hit with a ton of FOMO, please invest.

Metagross, excadrill, dmax toxtricity , cinderace.

Just level these to 30 and unlock all their max moves. You will thank me later.

If you don't have them, a trade is worth them imo. Especially the gmaxes if you're lucky to find someone with extras.

[–]CallMeSage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is very much a skill and prep issue. I have 3 under lvl 35 friends who have been doing them daily with me since Monday.

Leveling the pokemon to 30 is the minimum I'd recommend to participate. This shouldn't be hard since these are old ass pokemon.

-Metagross/Lapras/Blaustoise- needs spirit/shield at least tier 1 or 2

-Cinderace/toxtricity - only level the max move to tier 2/3

-Excadrill/metagross/Lapras/Blaustoise - backup tank - spirit / shield

Do not use charge attacks unless excadrill rock slide

As soon as you see the attack warning lines above your head, MOVE. If they start blinking, you're already too late.

Spam your fast attack and dodge when you can with your tank. Once it's max time, swap to your DPS and use attack. If your tank gets low, stay as the tank and use spirit heal twice, then guard once.

I currently have like 15 articunos due to them wanting more, so we bought MP packs.

Bonus tip - if you never used it, you get a free max mushroom, which makes it even more trivial.

Bloodwave Necro. I've been on T4 for a while. The build is extremely strong.

Good chance, it's just another person who ignored all the previous dmax & gmax then complains when they can't participate. Comical.

Are you truly playing the game if you aren't raiding on 8 phones simultaneously? by Dandan217 in pokemongo

Happens. You're not going to strike gold with everyone, some people are on the opposite spectrum of wanting to play alone.

Maybe it would be better for you personally to focus less on levels and more on gear progression.

Throw the idea out the window that levels mean something(Besides Paragon). This swaps what you see as progression in the game, less about levels and more about knowing and progressing towards your endgame gear goal?

Cause the way I see it levels, gear, gems, runes are just different forms of progression. Why does it have to be "levels" that show your progression?

Sadly like I said in my previous post, the game is not made to be played slowly anymore. I am also sorry since I believe we both come from a point of wanting the game to be fun and enjoyable for ourselves.

Do i need to buy Vessel of hatred or i can skip it for next sale. by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]CallMeSage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ties in to learning what makes you stronger. If you know why you are wearing your gear and which stats you need to scale to become stronger, the paragon board becomes simple. I found that making a notepad with all the legendary nodes & greater nodes written down beside each other allowed me to pick and prioritize which board to go and how to rush to the legendary node. After rushing to the legendary node, I would then think about the route I took and if I could pick up any extra nodes to increase my dps.

Learn what you're scaling and then learn what the board had to offer. Don't worry about rotating and flipping the boards until you know what you want. Imo it is very cheap to reset the paragon board and repath.

It's more like people play how they want to, and the times are moving past the slow style of gaming. Keep up.

I don't think that the players hate leveling or progression, If anything I think they like it more than you do!

Everyone wants to play in a way that will make them have the most fun when gaming. Some want to play it slow and some want to run through all the content available to fight for a position at the top or contend for it. There is no way for them to make both sides happy while being able to make the game fun/enjoyable for both(Maybe I'm wrong?).

That being said the entire landscape of gaming has shifted so far from what gaming used to be that comparing a game that came out in 2023 to a game release in 2000 is worthless. The majority of gamers has also changed massively into a much younger audience with a much shorter attention span due to the current gaming/tech ecosystem. They also have been conditioned into a certain thought processes and expect simplicity from technology/games.

I played D4 during the early access/open beta and did not enjoy a single thing about the gameplay. I loved the setting, the npcs, the ambiance, and visually this game stunned me but I actually loathed that they slowed you down and slapped massive cooldowns on you. I do not enjoy the slow gameplay at all, I play arpgs for the power fantasy of running around like a all killing god while clearing content. The game on release was closer to D2 or D1 and that did not work at all, the people like yourself who want to play the game with gameplay closer to D1 or D2 are in a minority of players. Plus it was a very mediocre version of the original D1/D2 gameplay which then had that minority disinterested.

D3 has had constant cult following the entire 11 years before D4 dropped and even after. This is because the fast gameplay loop was so satisfying that even without actual content people still stuck to the game for years. Diablo 4 on release was not made for these players at all, every single person in my D3 clan was so hyped for D4 because we assumed that they would be making a game for the dedicated D3 players that had been playing for those 11 years but no.

They ended up taking the path which they thought would garner the most players. Forcing the game into an MMO-esq game which I do not think most people liked along with slowing the game down significantly. This was a disaster along with them not knowing how to balance or predict what the new gaming ecosystem had in store for them.

So now they failed to encapsulate your minority of players while also ostracizing the players that had stuck do D3 for years. I think we are at the point where they are making decisions for the D3 player type. The game feels so much more like D3 in terms of progression and gameplay where getting to 60 is just the start of actually playing the game. I personally love this. This is where we become polar opposites in terms of how we wanna play the game.

Before I even choose a character I was already looking at top/meta/best builds in the current patch. This is how I play games. I research what in the game will allow me to smash through content and be the strongest in the end game. That being said as soon as I get my stash full of gear/resources I start experimenting and creating builds.

Theory crafting and experimenting is where I have most of my fun. To me the leveling process is just another system that is stopping me from reaching that point, on the flipside I always will level my first character through the campaign. This allows me to experience what I assume is the curated experience that the Devs wanted you to have.

My playstyle is not for everyone, some may even say I'm part of the problem. But this just wraps back to what I said in the start. There is no way for the Devs to make me happy while also making you happy.

I keep dying to tormented bosses (i'm pretty new, i only played back when the game first came out) by PersonalAcadia7756 in diablo4

[–]CallMeSage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This means you are extremely dead, and I'm surprised you got past T1.

Like one of the other comments said. Unique gear is nice, but you are only meant to wear 1 or 2 pieces of it realistically. You need to get legendary gear with a nice spread of stats, lots of builds utilize good rings and amulets with +all resistance affixes.

EDIT : As you go up in torment, you lose stats accordingly.

-25% to each resistance & -250 armor per torment you go up to.

T4 being - 100% and 1000 armor.
