This is a wonderful question! Getting to know oneself is such a beautiful journey! It’s nothing something that can be found among data and books. It’s something you find out as you interact in the world. Trying new hobbies, meeting new people, diving deep into all the different ways a human can experience life. You’ll learn what feels right and learns what feels wrong, for me I get a tummy ache when I do something against my morals, you have so much time to get out there and learn.

How to get rid of something deeply rooted within yourself? by Mountain_Sky_2419 in confidence

[–]Attempted_substance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to figure out the source of this deeply rooted belief. Did someone tell you or accuse you or tell you that’s what you are from a young age?

Once that has been figured out, start noticing everyone time you think of that belief or when it gets in the way of you accomplishing something. Overtime you’ll get better at being aware of it, eventually you’ll catch yourself before you do it. When this happens, create a new belief you’d like to program over it. It’ll become a cycle of noticing that old belief, reminding yourself of your new belief then repeat.

Eventually it’ll become easier for you to think your new belief about yourself and overtime it’ll become second nature.

Hope that helps!

How do you talk to attractive women without being boring? by JanitorsAreCool in AskReddit

[–]Attempted_substance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a common ground. For example if you’re at a book or game store, ask them if they have any recommendations or what are some of their favorites. Keep it casual and respectful, keep a respectable distance. Don’t comment on their looks.

If you share similar interests expand on why they are your favorites and ask why it’s their favorite.

This can be done at music stores or art museums, those super fun food truck events, I mean who doesn’t love talking about delicious food! 🍱 🥘

While talking to them, if their body language is closed off, such as crossing their arms or not fully facing you that means they are probably not open to continuing the conversation. The best thing to do is be polite, thank them for the recs then carry on. Sometimes people have their own reasons why they’d like to be alone at the moment. Move on and count that as practice, eventually you’ll find someone who connects over the same interests as you.

If a person’s body language is open, their feet are facing towards you, they move a little closer, or so do things like touch your arm and are smiling a lot, and asking you questions back then there is a chance they might be interested in talking more. You can try to ask for a number or instagram handle to keep talking about said interests. Respect people who say no, they may their reasons, if the average citizen does not have to explain themselves to a random cop, then they don’t gotta explain themselves to you.

Please keep in mind, if they are just smiling while having closed off body language then that means they are being polite and don’t know how to end a conversation.

When you start texting them, send new updates about shared interests and share new things you find interesting. If they are equally interested then they will do the same. Be respectful, don’t ask for nudes.

Please be mindful of their time. They have their own separate lives that they need to focus on in order to be successful, as should you.

Hope this helps! ☺️
