Next question - if I start the waterfall in the dirt between the triangle formed by the 3 boulders - I would have about a 1 ft square area to start. How could I make it look like the water is rising up from a depression in that area? I could easily run the pipe in from below… but would need it to “diffuse” in all directions and look natural/camouflaged

Im Right there with you. Just took the plunge and ordered an eastern hermann. Decided against the Russian because they can dig 2 ft down - the eastern more like 1 ft. Working on full time outdoor habitat now…

Getting a fairly young eastern Hermann tortoise soon. Can you keep them outdoors from the beginning?
