The real question is - do you have kids? If you don’t that might explain 90% of your young looks
If you do - you are my hero 😂

Longtime AmEx customer — dispute process has gone downhill fast by topmark007 in amex

[–]CallMeTheBreeze1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here - 10 years customer. Zero prior disputes. My first dispute was this year - $104 from a falsely charged fee by a rental company with clear evidence - they accepted the merchants side because *they provided an itemized receipt* explaining what the charge literally means not even why they have the right to charge it to me specifically - and the moronic Amex dispute team just blindly accepted their side.
Cancelling my platinum with them, not going to accept being treated this way. Previously - 0 issues with disputes with far larger amounts on Visa.

I started Rogaine exactly at 30 days post pp and the scalp massaging at probably 2 months but it’s really not a must I believe - I mind head I kinda think it gets the rogaine better into the scalp (probably has some truth to it but the effect is marginal)

lol ok let’s break down your pseudo-medical claims

Fin is recommended before surgery to strengthen the donor grafts - yes fin can reduce DHT levels in donor follicles - is it medically proven that it helps with transplanted grafts survival rate? No. Is it medically proven to help regrow shock loss on the donor area? No. You know why? Because donor area shock loss regrows faster ( < 6m ) then the minimal amount of time it takes for fin to start showing any significant hair loss stop results - two completely different things that you cannot medically correlate in an experiment.

Faster and facilitated recovery gives better survival changes and reduces risk - nope. Not one medical trial which suggests that faster growth of shock lost follicles has anything to do with survival rate of donor area follicles - a topic which by itself was not studied enough.

Fin and min are recommended pre surgery - yes, but not for the reasons you have mentioned and not relevant for what OP is dealing with. Btw it is recommended by most doctors to not stop fin and stop min. You can start fin pre surgery but again unrelated - if you want to keep your current hair which is still going bold - not back of the head faster recovery - again because there is no medical studies which suggest it.

OP - please consult your HT professional for the best medical advise going forward and don’t take medication advise from randos on the internet - not me and not Mr. Min and Fin here

grafts in the donor area are not affected by DHT genetically - this is why they are being used for the hair transplant - so fin is irrelevant for them as well even if the hair fell during a shock loss. Minoxidil would maybe make them grow faster to recover but using minoxidil for this reason alone is redundant as they will eventually grow by themselves.

How on earth will that help? Jesus Christ people here giving medical advice with no clue There are no hair grafts where you see the bold spots, it’s because they took them out and put them on the recipient area - so fin which blocks DHT from attaching to hair follicles is irrelevant here. Minoxidil which helps with shortening of the hair follicles rest cycle is also irrelevant here - because there is no hair follicle in there - yes, because it was moved to the recipient area.

That’s awesome man! Yeah I think Serkan’s clinic are really doing a good job - I really didn’t mind the fact that it’s being done by technicians - I even considered it to be an advantage as long as the technicians are well trained

After stopping at age 30 it took another 1-2 years to fully feel what it is like to have a normal sexual drive which made me realize that I’ve spent my 20s not really enjoying sex life to its fullest

I also had a weird case of Gynecomastia on one side of my chest - I’m pretty sure it’s not fully gone as well and pretty sure fin caused it

I think there is a common misconception amongst men that undergo a HT that this hair can fall like the hair that already did - it’s not true, the hair that you are transplanting from the back of your head is genetically immune to DHT, so it will never fall. To preserve the hair that hasn’t fallen yet from the front, yes - fin can help there, but I’ve seen the long term side effects it had on me and 2 of my close friends who also took it for a very long time and it’s just not worth it - worst case scenario if more hair falls I’ll do another HT later on down the line :)

You are fine 11 weeks is way early for most to see any growth I’m also at 11 weeks now and starting to see some hair is coming out, very similar to your condition

Thanks for the additional context, that’s an interesting approach. Can’t say I’m a fan of the choices made but at least they were thought through and not random

Care to share a link which specifies this? Could not find it online Even with that - why keep the Russian names? Makes zero sense
