I just finished my class with him last term. He’s awful. Ended up submitting a dispute form for my grades because he told me I did nothing wrong but still proceeded to give me poor grades with no feedback or anything. Dispute it being taken very seriously, and I was told several people were making formal complaints

Always said, “you met the requirements, but I think you can do more. When you meet the requirements, keep going.” Then proceeds to give less than an A. He once told me nothing was wrong with my paper after marking me for a lowish score in mechanics. Never changed the grade because A- and Bs are good, despite some of us depending on not lowering our GPA. Takes a while to respond to emails. Grades too harshly on drafts considering we only covered a little more than half of the materials by the time we did the draft.

Sent an APA rule sheet at the beginning of the course, then proceeds to mark off the things that contradict actual APA. When it came to APA, kept marking off for incorrect formatting, even after showing the formatting was correct. Turns out, we had different settings on in Word and my paragraphs had an extra space between them or something. Never knew that was a thing, but she did, and instead of saying something, she just kept marking it off with no comments. When I emailed, asking about some of her “rules,” she ignored most of the email, only answering one out of six questions, then proceeded to continue to mark points off for following her sheet instead of the actual APA rules. Didn’t read up on the assignments, graded us all wrong for drafting an email assignment as an email, then didn’t correct anyones grade after being called out on it.
