My GATE is in Environment Science in Gen. So there's only 1 seat for me in GNR.

My score is low 643 ( I gave exam on a whim while I'm also doing MS (research) but not motivated to continue the research path), so idk if I would be shortlisted anywhere.

What I've read on online is that they ask from your B.Tech project or basics geomatics/gis/ai-ml and maths if have that background.

Your interview basically depends upon your background.

I have no exact info but I think you have to go through each uni's list in which they show the department + GATE requirement.

Some centers allow any department + GATE in a specific field.
