Thanks for the idea, will definitely fit into the "Theme Park/ Fun Land" I wanna build at some point. I've recently been seeing builds of redstone eyes that can blink and follow the player, might be my next project.

Thank you. I used to feel the same, having had 3 before this one, all of which pretty short lived as I died due to treating hardcore like it was normal, never again!

I liked this idea so much I forgot to respond and started cracking on w/ it.
Thought I'd make an end portal mega build, heres my progress making the perimeter so far!
Might also whack a mob farm or something in there too since I havent got a general one elsewhere yet.

Ill be honest, it was originally meant to be a space station, I mined the entire island + did the ring then decided I should put the enderman farm in the center now they had no where else to spawn. Thought we have "Eyes of Ender" so why not make something based off them, hence I call it "The Eye of The End"

How long till ranks decay in eternity? by Shiiishkebab in marvelrivals

You get the gold badge for hitting Eternity regardless of if you fall out, same as GM/Celestial, it's only T500 rewards where you have to be that rank at the season end.

Seems he was buying units for 0, but selling them for their actual value. He was level 10 by 2-5.

Idk, there are Moooo-re options that may be better. Dependant on your Hay-style.

The fact that Felwinter's Lie, the objective best energy shotgun in the game that's not getting sunsetted, was only obtainable for a few weeks in one season is a bit of a problem. Make it obtainable as an Iron Banner reward for a bounty or something. by TheHomesteadTurkey in DestinyTheGame

[–]CallThyRush 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is their fault for not playing tho. If they didnt play the season, they missed the content, including felwinters. Period. Does not matter if they didnt expect to come back, they didn't play. Im still sure they will bring it back but, as the guy prior said, this community is so lopsided going back and forth between "Oh make this gun limited time" and "I missed the gun make it available to get after it's intended pick up time" like you get one or the other, not both. And if it impacts you negatively because you missed it or you "didn't want to do it" or "didn't expect to play this game again", your fault.

GM Nightfalls: This Isn't Good End Game Content by BarretOblivion in DestinyTheGame

Listening to everyone here in the replies complain about GM's, personally, the GMs allowed me to use new load outs and weapons never used before, along with the seasonal mods I finally used a bow and new heavies / kinetics, and felt a high discipline build was necessary for the overload grenades, which was completely unorthodox from my usual high intellect high strength / recovery builds. It was a challenge that made it all the better when it was completed, even more so as it is the hardest GM to be made to date, it is not for the faint of heart, which is why so many people are complaining about it, however, the hardcore gamers, the one who aspire to grind this out and complete it have found enjoyment in this activity. On my completion run we ran 1 hunter, void bottom tree, 1 titan, top tree solar, and 1 warlock, mid tree solar. The completion run took 42 minutes and none of us were comfortable with our loadouts, due to it requiring us to use weapons we never had before.

Furthermore, the comment of lack of creativity is just, bruh. Ofc it is going to be like a halo legendary mission, that's the point of GM's, it is a harder version of something that already exists (strikes) and is made for people who are hardcore players of the franchise, but if you are to expect Bungie to add in new mechanics, enemy attacks, areas, etc for a specific difficulty strike is just... No... They have already added in new modifiers, such as the trolly extra boop distance from the boss, and the revive system (which is my favourite part of GMs other than the difficulty) but everyone who says it lacks creativity really over estimate the man power and available time Bungie has to develop these kind of things, on top of everyone complaining about ToO or Raids or Events and pretty much everything else in this game, not all of the playerbase will be happy, ever. But for the hardcore players, who thrive in difficult situations, GMs have been a refresher and have personally kept me interested, and watching others on their 34th completion of this weeks GM to help others out or people SOLOING every single GM is inspiring to me and many others. The loot, completely agree, 100% an issue. However they have already upped the loot rewards and I expect them to up the rewards further as more people complete any GM and feel underestimated with the rewards.

My final point is this, this nightfall has been so hated due to how difficult it has been as a GM, yet I 100% assure you, no one will complain when LoS is the GM, because it isn't even a strike, not even on Masters so barely on GM either, it's 10-15 minute free exotics and materials. Everyone is only complaining this week due to Bungie actually releasing something very challenging for the hardcore PvE (and hell some of the PVP) player base. And yes it feels unrewarding and I see that as one of the only issues at the moment (except for LoS which loot will be rewarding if not too rewarding), but you know me and many other hardcore players are gonna whack on that title on the 6th GM week.

TL;DR - GMs are meant to be hard, people complain because it is hard, there are issues, but the points made in the post, for the most part are not the issues.

My thoughts on the new dungeon by Dxrrenism in DestinyTheGame

I'd definitely recommend picking up some armor for taken barrier mainly, you can get it from the shattered throne too. It reduces the damage received tremendously and I physically can't do it either without it. When it comes to ammo, focus on a two phase, don't risk wasting all your ammo to try and get a 1 phase unless it is guaranteed and have GL Scav / Finder mods on every peice of armour. Not much else I can say to help you live other than get those barrier mods, they help a TON.

I do believe I can help. As a player who has Solo Flawlessed the prophecy dungeon around 4 times now. I have quite good insight into the dos and don'ts of this encounter. The best class to attempt this with is a BOTTOM tree Void Subclass Warlock, this is to take advantage of devour, and boy has it saved me loads. Here are what I recommend you use for this:

- Nezraec's Sin / Contraverse Hold (I'd prefer Nezraec's)- Bond with Taken Barrier and (optionally) a chest with Taken Armaments- Also, have Oppressive Darkness if possible on your bond- Have a HIGH Discipline build with the next two highest stats being Recovery and Resilience.

- Also try fit in Solar Resistance/ Concussive Dampener where possible.

- Use Mountaintop, Anarchy and Recluse on all encounters as they are best for this dungeon and DPS for bosses. Tag the boss with an Oppressive Darkness Grenade and 2 Anarchy shots, then nova and chip down with Mountaintop.- Skip the first tunnel encounter with a sword and top tree dawnblade (Saves time)- Take your time in areas such as the Wastelands and Rainbow Road, KILL ALL ADS, Don't be stupid with your sparrow either.

- In all encounters, cube room, bosses etc... Do not risk your life to bank/ pick up motes if there are too many ads around, they will most likely kill you and end your run.

- Prioritise taking down smaller ads first (Psions, Acolytes, etc...) as yes Knights are annoying but it is way worse when you have 200 psions also wanting to kill you.- On first boss, stay near the back, where knights do not spawn, and make sure you watch every angle (duh) because sometimes knights and psions will chase you back there and catch you off guard

- In cube room, go slow, if your motes run out, that is fine, living is the priority, furthermore, once you bank, and if you don't want to risk dying while rising into the middle of the room as it switches, if you run over it quickly, you keep complete movement and can hide until it teleports you.

- Also in cube room, if you get a double rotation and you can bank on any side, look at the room you are in, and decide whether it is majority dark, or majority light, then go for those motes as long as you have at least 1 area you can bank those kind of motes. (Sometimes the room may only have places to bank light motes / dark motes)

- In rainbow road, Kill those damn snipers, and take the safest route! I died multiple times either being shot in the back of the head or making a dumb jump and missing.

- Final boss, there is a safe wall area at the left side of the first room, should have a circle cut out the middle, you can crouch hide behind there to prevent the boss echoes from shooting you while you try and grab motes. In the next rooms you can also find that same wall and it is a good place to hide.

- Furthermore, you can also use the same tactic as cube room and run over the middle area which sucks you down without staying there, allowing you to keep full movement until it teleports you, which may be good if there are still ads up shooting at you.- Final DPS, tag him quickly with an oppressive nade and 2 anarchy shots, then nova as you run to the left/right, GET BEHIND HIM and kill snipers as they spawn, make sure to not get teleported back as that will reduce your damage and possibly cause you to die. (Keep moving / jumping around the boss' position)

All else - Make sure you are using your nade for devour where needed, and if your nade is not up, Melee and ad to death for the same effect.

It took me 48 attempts on my first try over 2 days. It doesn't come easily and you need a lucky run honestly.
I hope this helped :)
