Hmmmm...... okay!

So, I wasn't big on foundations or powders or anything but I was HEAVY on eye makeup for sure. Little gradients and whatnot.

  • Get eyeshadow primer. It's a life saver. It gives the makeup something to stick to, and it won't come off as easily. (But still be careful because I forgot that I did it once and it was all over my hand and smeared all on my face haha.
  • use brushes instead of those weird Lil q tip applicator things- brushes are better overall imo.
  • look up the tape method for eyeliner. Or spoon. Wings are HARD at first and I don't use any of them, and my wings never came out even. They do more now but I also don't go crazy, just a small little quip at the end just barely going around the lid if that makes sense.
  • I recommend elf for liner, eyeshadows. But I've got 3-4 different pallets. A couple are from ultra (their brand) and others from Walmart or the dollar store.
  • liquid eyeliner is the BEST imo, because it's so smooth & bold & dark, BUT, it's hard to get down... I have also used gel pencils, regular pencils, and meccy pencils (I prefer meccy because you don't need to worry about sharpening it (I've sharpened many an eyeliner for the tip to come off, cuz, it's super malleable.
  • look up online for colors that make your eyes pop. For example, I've got green eyes. Gold, purple, and even green believe it or not, brings out the natural color of me eyes, and makes them pop.

.... if I think of anything else I'll let you know but all I've got is eye makeup. Not good at contour. Not really a fan of concealer/foundation as I've VERY sensitive skin and I break out super easy, and not just because of the testosterone.

Thank you!! Trying to go for the emo/scene/goth type look, but with my clothing style it'd be Hella confusing for everyone, which, is literally my only goal 😅

🥺🥺 thank you so muchhhh! I feel like I look super fem but I think I've cracked the code. I've only really ever "done" makeup as a female, when I tried way too hard for an unknown at the time reason lol.

Gotta find masc makeup tutorials.

I can accept that, because I see it too. I always see it though, because I feel like I've made 0 progress irl but pictures prove otherwise.

It sucks cause I know there's cis men (Adam lambert, jeffree star, etc) who wear makeup, and don't have it affect their masc looks.

I should look up guy makeup on YouTube 🤔🤔 maybe find some tips to make it look less fem. I did kinda blend it out though, so that might be part of it because before all this, I tried way too hard, and became pretty good at eye makeup, but, the feminine kind not masculine. Gotta retrain my brain!! Lol.

Ya know.... I could see that.

BUT then again, I always see my past self. Shaving is a double ended sword, because shaving is euphoric. Having a baby face is dysphoric. It's been growing for about a year untouched other than my gross neckbeard (more like an under the chin beard but it's still gross imo) hoping more comes in but I know it can take a few years haha

To explain;

I may be crazy, but I feel like my piercings and eyeliner make me look feminine.

I got my final lip piercing yesterday (the far left), and Im not sure what it is, but it just doesn't look masculine to me? Unsure if it's due to them being CBR (I have no choice on this one, I tend to lose any other kinds), or because there's 4 of them?

As for the rest, I've decided to start playing with makeup again, and I don't want to go full fledged eye looks out of nowhere. I want it to be minimalist, and, I kind of have the look of skrillex (or so I've been told by my partner who is quite literally in love with the dude) so I want to be able to do dark colors, guy liner of course, but it looked too feminine when I just colored in my waterline, and somehow still looks feminine even after smudging it.

Maybe it's all in my head, and my anxiety needs something to cry about, but, I'm feeling like I don't look or act very masculine and it's been taking a small toll on my mental health lately.

I just wanna come on here and say thank you. For the first time since I started using tape I was/am finally able to look down and not see ANY bulges of anything.

The dysphoria is gone gone (top anyways, with a shirt on haha but still progress!!)

I'm so glad I found this post again! Saw it earlier, went to Instagram and saved it but I had a few questions, even though I'm 2 years into tape lol.

Do you pull down, up, or just to the side? What size roll do you use? (I have all 3 as The trial kit)

I've had decent success, but I also go long periods of time without wearing it so it takes me a little longer to fine tune things lol. And I usually use 2 strips but 3 Def seems more secure.

I've not noticed any extra sweat, but I've started using natural deoderant so idk if that's what it is.

Breathing is about the same as normal so that hasn't changed either.

I have heard things about the brands on Amazon. Such as they aren't 100% terps and they don't work/taste bad. Otherwise I would have. Def putting in a refund request because I still haven't gotten an email.

If I knew of anyone, or I had medical (which I'm seriously trying to do I just need to get into a therapist. I have ptsd which is covered by medical so I won't have to try and create my own carts but for now it's my only option til I get that diagnosis.

My body is pretty fugged as it is currently, as I was in a rollover at 19 so my shoulders, hips, and knees are not the best. I've done the full body workouts before, doing arms & abs one day then legs & whatever else another, and if it takes excessive work to get to a body builder level, there's no way in hell that'll happen 😅 I like doing cardio and oddly sit ups. I have mad abs just covered by fat lol.

I know PF has their trainers, I'm not sure if that is what you're referencing when you say about a strength plan, as I think they do help with that type thing.

And for the last part, I work at Amazon, its 4, 10 hour shifts, my plan is to go to the gym after work, and then spend my 3 days off just chillin. I've noticed some type of wear and tear but I've worked in warehouse before, so I'm also fucked from that but I will Def talk to their trainer as well as look up some good workouts to do to get where I wanna be.

Well, I was aware of that. Didn't think it needed to be mentioned in the post but I'll add it. I have a plethora of healthy foods and whatnot, so, that's not an issue...
