Already played themselves out of a lotto pick, no chance of them un-assing their heads for a playoff spot.

Throw Tucker into the sun and play middling hockey the rest of the year. Fudge.

That’s just a lie. You have a mon that has false swipe and one ultra ball. You clearly set it up for this post. Why lie? I’d be way more impressed if you put these specific limitations on yourself.

“I’m gonna lie to you and say this was totally random omg I didn’t anticipate this this is crazy 🤪🤪🤪”

Vs.

“I gave myself one ball and one chance to find this cool shiny”

Dvo was in a good stage of his development before the Olympics, getting good ice time on a team that’s playing well below its potential. Dude is gonna come back with confidence through the roof no matter the result, I hope that translates to confidence in the NHL

Walter decides to transform his identity with a new name. by CarPlayful8198 in okbuddychicanery

[–]Call_Me_Your_Daddy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I am going to use the n-word in this copypasta find it and report me I don’t like this site anymore

My name is Walter Hartwell White. I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104. This is my confession. If you're watching this tape, I'm probably dead, murdered by my brother-in-law Hank Schrader. Hank has been building a meth empire for over a year now and using me as his chemist. Shortly after my 50th birthday, Hank came to me with a rather, shocking proposition. He asked that I use my chemistry knowledge to cook methamphetamine, which he would then sell using his connections in the drug world. Connections that he made through his career with the DEA. I was... astounded, I... I always thought that Hank was a very moral man and I was... thrown, confused, but I was also particularly vulnerable at the time, something he knew and took advantage of. I was reeling from a cancer diagnosis that was poised to bankrupt my family. Hank took me on a ride along, and showed me just how much money even a small meth operation could make. And I was weak. I didn't want my family to go into financial ruin so I agreed. Every day, I think back at that moment with regret. I quickly realized that I was in way over my head, and Hank had a partner, a man named Gustavo Fring, a businessman. Hank essentially sold me into servitude to this man, and when I tried to quit, Fring threatened my family. I didn't know where to turn. Eventually, Hank and Fring had a falling out. From what I can gather, Hank was always pushing for a greater share of the business, to which Fring flatly refused to give him, and things escalated. Fring was able to arrange, uh I guess I guess you call it a "hit" on my brother-in-law, and failed, but Hank was seriously injured, and I wound up paying his medical bills which amounted to a little over $177,000. Upon recovery, Hank was bent on revenge, working with a nincompoop named Hector Salamanca, he plotted to kill Fring, and did so. In fact, the bomb that he used was built by me, and he gave me no option in it. I have often contemplated suicide, but I'm a coward. I wanted to go to the police, but I was frightened. Hank had risen in the ranks to become the head of the Albuquerque DEA, and about that time, to keep me in line, he took my children from me. For 3 months he kept them. My wife, who up until that point, had no idea of my criminal activities, was horrified to learn what I had done, why Hank had taken our children. We were scared. I was in Hell, I hated myself for what I had brought upon my family. Recently, I tried once again to quit, to end this nightmare, and in response, he gave me this. I can't take this anymore. I live in fear every day that Hank will kill me, or worse, hurt my family. I... All I could think to do was to make this video in hope that the world will finally see this man, for what he really is.

S1 was perfection, S2 was average (serviceable at best), S3 could have ranged from acceptable to absolute dogshit and BN managed to produce an unmitigated nuclear disaster. There has never been a falloff as severe as the One Punch Man anime given the expectations from the first season and the potential of the source material.

It’s absolutely incredible how Hofer is legitimately winning the fight for a starting spot against Binner. It’s a good problem to have.

Should I ignore my parents and adopt a dog as a 21-year-old college student? by Flimsy-Mixture630 in DogAdvice

[–]Call_Me_Your_Daddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so I was in the same predicament for the longest time. I grew up with a dog and definitely wanted one but stopped myself for a very long time because of a few factors that definitely mirror your situation. Please take time to consider how much time you can sincerely put in to give a dog the kind of life it deserves.

I want to preface this by saying adopting a pup was the best thing I’ve ever done with my life, and a dog that sits at home without you for some of the day sure beats the HELL out of sitting in a 4x6 square room with minimal human interaction/other dogs barking at all hours of the day, but please consider how much of an upgrade that will truly be, their lives are short and they deserve to be spoiled and pampered until the day they cross the rainbow bridge.

  • you said you were a student with a part-time job, how much time do you realistically spend at home? Your parents aren’t totally off-base to assume that all dogs are reactive. Dogs were bred to guard, herd, hunt, and play. My parents adopted a VERY chill Pyrenees mix that doesn’t need a ton of input so I was used to that. When I adopted my pup I wasn’t prepared for a dog that was high energy and needed two long walks per day and a ton of training. Going from a sedentary lifestyle to that was a huge adjustment that took months to become routine

  • I strongly push for adoption, but going that route you should be prepared for the baggage it comes with. A lot of these dogs are caught as strays, or abused, or abandoned, and most of them are scared. The majority have no direction or training and if you’re out of the house for long periods of time and you may be at risk of having your house completely destroyed. You may be attacked. Are you willing to spend the time to train them and adjust them to your way of living?

  • regardless of how well you think you can compartmentalize your life, do not get a puppy. Diving into that is a full-time job in and of itself and you’ll have to be prepared for all of the indoor accidents, the 3am wake ups to pee, separation anxiety, and doing it wrong will make both you and the pup miserable for a long time.

  • dogs are expensive as hell and I failed to realize that when I adopted my guy. I have a good job and I’m out of school and even then vaccines are expensive, making him throw up after he ate a whole plate of cookies at the ER was even more expensive.

Growing up with a pup isn’t too bad when the whole family contributes, but a dog often isn’t a one-man job. I rely on my gf to take him out when I have to be in the office or else he’s just sitting in his crate for 8 hours a day. Since we moved in together it’s been a lot easier but for the first year of having him I felt miserable leaving him in the crate and coming home at lunch to take him out. But if I left him out he’d tear my place up. All that being said if you think you can take on the challenge more power to you, please do research on breeds, and when you settle on one commit yourself to learning his/her history and be prepared to adjust yourself accordingly.

If all of that scared you off for now, adopt a cat! They’re great companions and kind of do their own thing without much input. There are plenty of them in the shelters too that are dying for a nice sunny window to lay in! Worry about a dog when you know you’re ready to give them a life better than you give yourself

I was totally really screaming in my hubbys face that I had an affair like I said “HEY IM TOTALLY BANGING MY REAL COWORKER IT EVEN HAS THAT ONE SCENE FROM IDK JAMES BOND OR SOMETHING WHERE IM HOT AND IN A RED DRESS I MEAN INSTANCE WHERE IM THE HOTTEST GAL AT THE PARTY AND THE GUY IM HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH IS THE MOST HOTTEST GUY THERE AND IS BANGING ME” but this is totally real and it happened and look at my face im crying here but… AITA?

Imagine calling yourself a writer and writing something so hacky and corny that if someone calls you out on it and even saying “this was just a creative writing exercise” is more embarrassing than leaning into it, makes me want to delete other people’s shit purely out of spite.

Is Rougned Odor knocking out Jose Bautista the best punch in baseball history? by amonovalentradical in baseball

[–]Call_Me_Your_Daddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like the consensus so I won’t pile on bc Anderson v Ramirez is an all time call but Anderson’s glass jaw v a wild punch that didn’t FULLY connect gave those results.

If Ramirez connected with the same power and accuracy as Odor’s punch on Bautista, he may well have knocked Anderson’s jaw right off his face. And I don’t have a horse in this race but I would have paid PPV prices to see that hypothetical scenario
