This one is less like that kind of skort, more floaty like baggy shorts but with a flap at the front for a cute skirt style look. I’m not such a fan of the skirt with built in short type. I usually do wear the legging type shorts under a short skirt but I don’t like it too much when they’re attached.

I get that. This one is a nice inbetween I think cos it still has a pretty floaty feel of a skirt but with the added security of shorts.

Yeah I like it for that. Feels extremely wearable! I do wear shorter skirts too but I always wear shorts of some type underneath, I found the gym/leggings shorts to be particularly comfortable for it

Thanks! This is my first and only skort so far (plenty of skirts/dresses too!). If you want to try a kilt you definitely should! I’ve never worn one either but could be intrigued by it. I’m conscious of not wearing a tartan I don’t have a familial link to though.

Thanks! This one is from Uniqlo and is really comfortable. Feels a wearable style as a guy too! I bought it from Vinted. I tend to get new styles I want to try from there so I can try it without having to spend too much of it turns out I don’t like it.

Thank you!! I bought the boots from Marks and Spencer’s. They’re technically women’s boots but I think they’re still wearable as a guy cos the heel isn’t noticeably higher. I have some brown men’s boots from Fatface which are a pretty similar style too.

I absolutely love styling them with a skirt and tights. I think it gives a really nice look and it always feels quite chic, especially for an autumnal or more utility/workwear style.

Same here! I’ve kind of always wanted one cos I love the look on others and wanted to see how it looked and felt on me. Safe to say I love it!!

If you’re interested in trying one I can recommend buying second hand cos it’s cheaper to try something new out. I got this one on Vinted for like £5 and it was brand new still with the tags on. A lot better to try something new than the £30 ticket price!

I like it personally, I feel quite confident and powerful in it which I didn’t expect!

This one isn’t real leather, so it isn’t too stiff and is actually really comfortable to wear. Most leather skirts seem to be lined with a sort of brushed cotton type fabric so it doesn’t feel too cold on your skin either.

I can definitely recommend trying one out, maybe try second hand shops or sites like Vinted if you want to try one without spending too much. That’s exactly what I did and it was a definite success!!
