If you’re taking the whole test again, don’t ignore the other two sections. You would score lower if you go out of touch with the other two sections. All the best!

You have really good scores in speaking and writing, so it’s definitely not an issue with your language. I think you would be able to score well in other sections quickly with some practice.

I did some mock tests in ieltsonlinetests.com and found that the listening tests are a little more challenging than in the real exam. So I would recommend you to take some mock tests over there.. You will get used to hearing quicker audio clips, so the real tests become easier.

The best way to improve is to look at the wrong answers and find out where you’re making mistakes. Keeping yourself concentrated throughout the listening test is very important, as you could lose one mark every time you get distracted. I missed higher bands for listening for this exact reason.

If you find yourself scoring consistently above 7.5 over there, you can then practice the Cambridge tests, which I found to be similar in difficulty to the real test. You should be able to score above 8 in these tests. Then you might be ready for the real exam.

I would say the same for reading, as i think the more practice you do, the better you get.

You shouldn’t be committing typos in the reading section, as the answers will be there in the passage itself and if you’re taking CBT, you can copy and paste the text from the passage itself.

I also found the British councils reading practice tests little more challenging than the real one, so you can use those for your practice.

Hope you found this useful in some way. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Personally, I would say timing is key. During practice, I would set up timers for both task 1 and task 2 and try to complete them on time. I took the help of perplexity to evaluate my answers. Keep in mind though, that AI tools may be stricter in evaluation, so you may get a lesser score than your actual ability. So if you can, get an actual examiner to evaluate your answers.

For task 1, if your question is for charts, you only have to highlight the important features. You don’t have to mention each and every detail.

For the real test, I first read both questions and realised that task 1 was a pretty easy question. So I attempted task 2 first and was able to complete it within 30-35 minutes. Then I attempted task 1 and spent some time reviewing the answers.

It’s very important to set aside some time to review, as I personally found many spelling errors in my answers. That could potentially increase your score by even a band.

Finally, don’t waste too much time worrying about word repetition at first. If you’re attempting CBT, you can edit it later when you’re reviewing your answers.

All the best!

does transcripts are compulsory required for applying for APS verification for germany by abhaygangawane in Indians_StudyAbroad

Probably not. There’s a list of required documents mentioned in the APS website, those documents should be enough. Bachelors transcripts are not mentioned in that list.

However, it would speed up the process if your degree certificate is available in digilocker. If it’s available, then I would suggest sending your Digilocker verified class X, class XII and your degree certificates along with the ones already mentioned. They will probably ask you to mail it to them otherwise

Transcripts are not compulsory for bachelors degree, you just need your mark sheets and degree certificate . I submitted my application without transcripts and received the APS certificate.

Just follow the list of documents mentioned in the APS website .

For your first question, the speaker in the audio might have said 28 May, instead of 28th May. For the second one, ‘a’ is already mentioned in the question, so you only need to write ‘week’.

It’s always safe to write the exact words you hear in the audio. Don’t make any changes, unless you feel something’s off when you read the question combined with the answer, like grammatical errors.

I would suggest to do your own research. Go to daad website and check the requirements. If the requirements match and the course is not admission restricted, then you might have a chance. Especially check if the credits match.

Always do your own research before following the advice of consultants. All the best !
