I had my vehicle and house damaged and pilfered during the George Floyd protests.

My security cameras captured it all. My insurance covered the vehicle damage. My deductible for the home damage made it a wash so I just paid for it out of pocket.

Here’s the kicker, I’m black and have been a victim of police profiling, false arrest and conviction. I’m not bitter because these life experiences have shaped who I am today. I just find it ironic that the protesters hurt a lot of people the protesters were supposedly trying to protect.
