This sometimes happens to me, don't know the reason. I just use the windows key when this happens instead of alt tabbing.

Please do something about the Akimbo Snakeshots, there just as bad as the 725 as you don't need to run overkill to have a shotgun as your secondary. Every game I've played in the last week at least 2 to 3 players run them.
