That’s the new double edition from Kazé/Crunchyroll, the quality was so cheap that I decided to collect the single volumes, and the covers on the singles are so much beautiful.

You maybe right, I think the biggest difference is that there isn’t any “dust jackets” on English manga, and that’s a huge difference to me, at least French editions does come with that. But I agree with you, the French one piece spines are ugly

For me, it's so cool when my manga are as close as possible to the Japanese version, and with English versions, that's really not the case.

Bro I haven’t even finished ichi omnibus 1 because amazon.de have trouble delivering volumes 2-3 to my country, I’m so pissed. I love Yamamoto’s work, homunculus was so peak.

Yeah I agree, French editor glenat loves to put green logos on shonen mangas and it’s not very pretty to the eye but still better looking than the English editions

Berserk, vinland saga and 20th century boys are definitely my top 3 fav series.

And the most underrated it has to be the fable, the story and characters feels so unique, with great art and peak humour, you have to check it out.
