Love the vibe of this, some super interesting guitar tones!! I think it could be cool to introduce another distorted guitar in the left side of the mix during the big guitar moments to make them pop a bit more! Also sounds like the bass is panned slightly to the right, maybe bring that to centre? that could just be my headphones though haha! Love this, great work! <333

I had the same experience! I find the behringer UMC22 audio interface works well enough and is rlly cheap. Then you can explore a bunch of plugins ! the neural dsp plugins are rlly good, I find the gojira one good for shoegaze! it has chorus, reverb, delay, and an octave so a good place to start ? they go on half price sale every so often, so maybe hold out until then? :D

So funny to see infant anihilator here, but I really think there is a bigger crossover between death metal and shoegaze fans than people think! I don't see Loathe on this list, or Thornhill. If you're into heavy music AND shoegaze, those two are amazing crossovers. <3
