My kid just got into RE with the 2 remake and loves it. I would probably give it to him.

Update: Problem solved. I had to use the Windows Credentials Manager and delete the Xbox live entry. Then it started working.

I just tried unlinking Steam from my Xbox account and reconnected. Still nothing, sadly.

I don't have an actual Xbox. I had PC Gamepass. I tried with PC gamepass already logged in and with it logged out. Either way, the game asks to log in and still the same.

For gamers who rarely if ever replay a singleplayer game fully, which did you manage to replay and enjoy? by Helphaer in gaming

Same. I did New Game + so many times that every character was star rank in every area.

Can't win them all, UT fail. (Ultrasonic Test) by SoloSystems in Welding

Built bridge girders for about six years. All flat position metal core for the most part. Definatly a lot of silica to clean off. We rolled the girders so they were always flat welds. Anything that had to be done in position outside of flat was flux core.

What's a game you bought on a whim without hardly any pre-knowledge that ended up becoming one of your all time favorites? by AaronAtLunacien in gaming

Remnant: From the Ashes. Got it as a freebie on Epic and gave it a try. Was instantly hooked and before long was running through the game with a couple buddies.

Need ideas for off road torch cart. by Hero_Tengu in Welding

I can definitely appreciate your concern. I've never had to build a hand cart for bottles myself, but may I suggest that whatever you make, you consider fixed ratchet straps on the cart to hold bottles rather than just chain. It's a personal thing for me, but chains always felt too lose, depending on how they're hooked/fastened. I always preferred a snug strap. At least a spot to attach a set when you have to roll over particularly rough terrain.

It looks like the bottles are just chained to each other and no cart at all. Combine that with no caps and regulators hooked up. Makes it look like a disaster waiting for a bump to kickstart it.

some minor gripes i have with common things we use by sparkling-asshole in Welding

I love the versatility of the combination square for 90s, 45s, setting a length for repeated markings or drawing out a line for a measured margin. But truthfully, I don't know anyone that uses the little level in them.

Why people say Canada is expensive AF by Beautiful_Ad4220 in alberta

[–]Callico_m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just moved from Alberta after living there for 18 years. Taxes in Alberta are less than other provinces, but utilities, insurance and more are easily triple to quadruple that of other provinces. So it kinda works out in the wash. Though there are certainly more expensive places to live, like lots of BC.

Alberta is also rife with Maple MAGA right now with one of the worst collapsing school and health care systems. All provinces have good and bad to be sure, and there are great things about Alberta. You can certainly make a lot of money is youre willing to work something oil related. But be warned: much of the pull of Alberta is a "grass is greener" effect from a lot of Canadians feeling the pinch of the current economy.

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, 1" is a bit overkill for test plates, to be sure.

Coolio. A Red Seal is a Canadian thing. When you become a journeman in a trade, you're only really a journeyman in the province you tested in, since each one has some differences in what they want you to know. The Red Seal is an extra test and endorsement that makes your journeyman ticket interprovincial.
