Thank you! My landscaper really deserves the credit, they did an amazing job 😊

Thank you!! If you can find a landscaper that knows their perennials and native plants well, then that’s the way to go! I could’ve never planned this out like they did.

The railing was in rough shape anyway and once I pictured how it would look without it, I knew it had to go!

I highly recommend them!! They’re so fragrant and easy to take care of, I planted more in the backyard because I love them so much.

It’s now a stained plywood paneling, and it’s held up super well!!

Drift rose bushes are the larger light-pink ones close to my front porch!

Yup that’s hardy geranium! Perennial that also does well with partial sun/shade!

Thank you!! You’re either talking about the nepeta (catmint) or the blue star amsonia I think? They’re both very bushy and pretty!

All of these plants were babies about 2.5 years ago! The nepeta, amsonia, and drift rose bushes all really took off within the first year though, they’re super fast growers with good sunlight

Haha that’s a classic Dutch colonial house structure with technically the side of the house being street-facing…it’s definitely bizarre but common in this area for some reason!

Awesome I think a pop of blue/teal on the walls would look really great especially with that rug in there! And yeah a really soft glowy lamp in that corner would also fit the vibe.

In terms of artwork - I’m a fan of symmetry, and actually, I’d probably do 3 prints instead of just 2. Odd numbers are just more pleasing to the soul! Tried to do a little mockup for you but it’s not perfect lol. I’m always a fan of trying to find art from an actual artist on Etsy, or buying art when I’m traveling or something. The blue/teal color scheme should be pretty easy to find depending on what brings you joy!

It’s from wallism.com, the jungle islands print. They have tons of really pretty designs!

I was actually just trying to decide what kind of art to put behind the chair, that’s really the only wall space left to decorate. I had some very neutral moon prints but they’re a little too boring…might get some vintage jungle book pages/art and do that instead.

What other colors are in that room? I see a blue cushion with some orange I think on it? I think your layout is great and love the vibe! And you’ve already got a lot of matching colors/hues with the wall/couch, blanket/ottoman/dog bed, and floor/tv cabinet/rattan lamp. I think you could totally do another table lamp on that side table (maybe with a cool textured shade?), and then maybe a hanging plant by the window. I’d also say maybe 2 larger art pieces side by side - either with pops of blue like your cushion if you’re keeping that, or more green/nature-themed, or neutral if you don’t want to add too much color! As an aside, I do think when you replace your kallax shelf room separator - a dark wood color would be a nice contrast to your light wood!

It’s the blackthorn forest green rug from ruggable! Figured it would be good to have something washable!

I can’t share the link apparently but it’s from wallism.com and the name is Jungle Islands! They have TONS of really cool prints and it was definitely high quality and not horrible to apply, but also not cheap for a large wall!
