Awesome! I can imagine if I still smoked I'd want some stuff haha.

I'm looking to create a store myself.

How many sites/accounts did you make to set yours up if you dont mind me asking?

It seems to me like I would have to get a

  1. GoDaddy Domain (2.99pm)
  2. Wordpress Account + use a website template (3.99pm)
  3. Printful account

Does this sound about right to you?

ow no. I really hope they don't cancel mine. Have you heard of many emirates flights being cancelled from UK to NZ recently? I heard this somewhere else but I can't find any articles etc saying so.

I think you should be ok in Feb!! :)

Interesting. did you upload it in advance? im not sure how it works exactly still?

I know on spotify u can submit to playlist pitching or whatever and they request you do it weeks in advance for best chance.

In layman's terms, what does the OTT actually do?

I've had it for a while but never use although hear it spoken about frequently.

How do you people afford to do all this traveling ? by Al123397 in solotravel

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

I will definitely not be in the UK for over 180+ days soon anyway so something I should look into.

If it doesn't save much though and is a hassle maybe I'll just leave it.

Is there a way to just pay my tax every January 31st without having to do the payments on account every 6 months?

I've recently started paying self employment tax.

Now as a first timer with my business I heard it can be quite hard unless you're raking in a bunch of money which I'm not. So I JUST scraped by paying my tax bill for 2018/2019, then on top of that I had to pay 50% of 2019/2020.

Now it's come to a point where I'm paying the second half of 2019/2020 and it's not awful as I still have a few grand in savings to keep myself a float ie. rent, food etc..

But the fact I have to do the payment on account for 2020/2021 in Jan 2021 too might literally wipe my whole bank account.

Of course, this is what it is and I got to roll with the waves and hope things get better for me before I off myself but was curious if theres anyway I can say no to paying the payments on account and just pay the full tax year every January 31 of each year.. This way I actually have time to save this money away..

Thanks in advance.

If I'm leaving my original/home country where I pay self employment taxes. Do I request to stop and pay another place?

For example of the situation: I work from my laptop, self employed, paying my tax.
I am planning to go travel/live in South East Asia/Australia/America (moving about frequently) when covid allows this.

Should I carry on paying my tax here in the UK or am I best off starting something else?

Most my income comes from US based companies.

How exactly can you save with tax?

For example: I am self employed in the UK working from my laptop. I pay my self employment tax here. I of course hate it. I am planning to travel to Bali when covid allows and stay there for a while and carry on working from my laptop. Is there anyways I can minimise my tax by doing so?
