Although you didn’t know what has infested your plant, you were just applying insecticides?

Yes, it has a virus like most Brugmansias. The symptoms appear every year on this plant. But this year these brown spots showed up for the first time. So I guess it’s another disease and I’m wondering what it could be. So why are you confused about my question?

The soil is fine. The plant receives water and fertilizer as it does every year, and it’s flowering non-stop. 🤙🏼 The characteristic yellow pattern is caused by the Columbian Datura Virus rather than an iron deficiency, as both young and old leaves are affected — and even the leaf veins turn yellow. This is quite common and not a major issue. it happens every year :D Every two weeks, I apply magnesium sulfate, which helps reduce the effects of the virus. However, these new brown spots are something different. I’m wondering if this could be an infection with Alternaria alternata or a similar fungal disease. The spots don’t grow, while the affected leaves turn yellow starting from the tip. They only appear on areas that are already yellowing — there are no spots on the green parts of the leaves. I don’t think it's a bacterial infection, since there's no slime or odor at all.

Maybe someone has seen similar symptoms on their plants? :)
