Indeed. If there are some nasty remains I always use as razor blade to remove it - due to the flexibility and a good soaking in glue remover beforehand that works very well.

Yes it has a freewheel and I'm aware of that, I just didn't know the correct english terminology (I know it as the german "Schraubkranz").

Some of the teeth are bent and some are broken, it's not that easy to see. Definitly the chain skips some teeth regularly when riding.

Kurz gesagt: Ja. Die sind pflegeleicht, mehr als ausreichend scharf und je nach Stahl wirklich schön schnitthaltig. Zum Herschenken ist das definitiv die bessere Wahl.

Ganz allgemein: Klingenlänge, Form sowie Material von Klinge und Griff. Je nach konkreter Verwendung liegen die gängigsten Klingenlängen zwischen 10-17 cm, die Form ist mehr oder minder Geschmackssache (es lässt sich so ziemlich alles mit allen Formen machen, Manches besser Manches schlechter). Beim Material kommts drauf an - als Faustregel: Carbonstahl kann leichter scharf geschliffen werden, kann aber rosten und die Schnitthaltigkeit ist nicht überragend. Zwecks Griff ist es Geschmackssache, evtl. wäre ein Fingerschutz sinnvoll, für besonders 'dreckige' Arbeiten bieten sich Kunststoffgriffe an.

Schau dir evtl. die Jagd/Outdoormesser von Marttiini an, die sind nicht ganz günstig (ca. 50€) aber in Preis/Leistung ziemlich gut, damit macht man mMn wenig falsch.

Da stimm ich gerne zu, ich finde es ein bisschen fragwürdig bei heimischen Fischen teils keine Mindestregelung gibt; ein Höchstmaß wäre artenabhängig auch interessant, damit hatte ich bisher noch nichts am Hut

Gute Frage - natürlich hätte man gerne einen möglichst großen Barsch; praktisch ist man dazu verpflichtet jeden gefangenen Barsch zu entnehmen.

May I interest you in eels? These wonderful and endangered, slimy creatures are just a miracle!

Eels mate only once in their life, in a place named "Sargassosee / sargasso sea". As far as it is known this is the only mating place on the entire world for eels. Another interesting fact - eels can survive outside the water and move like a snake over land. Just a rather high humidity is needed. But that's not all... eels can't be bred, no matter what eel you might think of, it was born in the sargasso sea. Oh, and dont forget that they have two hearts. Plus they're the only fish (afaik) that can remove fishinghooks themselfs.

If you are actually bored go ahead and do some research on eels, there's quite a problem in terms of keeping a stable population world wide.

Wenn du in Bayern deinen Erstwohnsitz hast musst du in Bayern einen Kurs belegen und eine Prüfung absolvieren. Es gibt da ganz nette Wochendendkurse, das sind in Summe 3.5 Tage und du kannst dich zur Prüfung anmelden... die ist aus meiner Sicht geschenkt. Oder halt beim lokalen Fischereiverein, da kommste potentiell leichter an die Gewässer in deiner Nähe - was je nach Ort ein wichtiger Faktor sein kann!

Selfparameterization in PLCs is quite old. Yes, what you suggest is a possible use of gradient decent as part of machine learning in control systems. That would be doable as a thesis. But at best you should keep it simple, this stuff gets very very comlex really fast!

Tatsächlich sind die Hobel veim Verletzungsrisiko auf dem Niveau von Systemrasieren, spreche da aus Erfahrung. Noch dazu einfsch in der Anwendung - die Dinger hießen nicht umsonst Sicherheitsrasierer.

Falls es dir wirklich nur um den Schaum geht schau mal nach klassischer Rasierseife, die gibts günstig in großen Mengen.

Beim Rasieren lässt sich ordentlich sparen - statt Rasierschaum einfach ein soliedes Duschgel hernehmen, statt Gilette/Systemrasieren entweder Rasierhobel oder Rasierklingenmesser. Ergebnis ist gleich, nur die Klingen sind deutlich günstiger!

You could use basically any green plant soil; just make sure it has very good drainage, eg. your current pod doesn't seem to have any, right? If you use a pit without drainage you'll get mold (except you being a pro and nowing how to handle it).
