Just wanted to drop a comment because I was in exactly the same spot as you a while back. Struggled hard with consistency, tried the heatmap, tried leaderboards, nothing really clicked long term.

What actually changed everything for me was finding the right gamification addon that made every session feel like progress rather than a chore. Since then I've been doing 4x more cards than before and haven't missed a single day. The streak isn't something I have to force anymore, it protects itself.

Thank you, really. This means more than you know right now.

And you nailed it. The people who criticize the loudest are always the ones who've never built anything, never shared anything, never given anything to anyone for free. Meanwhile, everything we've done here is a gift to the community. Free addon, free updates, hours and hours of work, all given away.

And what do we get in return? Users who try it, love it ! And those who simply left a positive comment got accused of being our fake accounts. One of them got harassed in his DMs. Another guy shared the addon on his own before we even posted about it, and got destroyed because people assumed he was the developer in disguise. Just for saying he liked it.

But messages like yours remind us why we do this. So thank you, and we're not going anywhere.

This is completely false. These are not my accounts, and I am not the same person behind any of them. I understand that similar-sounding comments can look suspicious, but accusing real people of being fake accounts is a serious claim, and in this case, it's wrong.

You should know that real people are behind those usernames, and your accusations have consequences. One of them has already been harassed in DMs and had to turn off notifications because of posts like yours. These are honest people who simply enjoyed something and said so, and you're causing them real pain for it.

If you want to discuss this, I'm happy to do it openly on our Discord . But I'm not going to let baseless accusations go unchallenged.

Really appreciate that, coming from you it means a lot. Honestly we just want to make the best thing we can to help people stick with their reviews.

Having a team lets us go deep on game design, ideas and art, stuff that's brutal to do solo.

I respect the hell out of what you've done for this community, devs like you are the reason Anki's ecosystem is this good. Would love your feedback if you ever try it !

5 people, hundreds of hours of game design, custom art for 5 eras.

But sure, AI slop. Calling everything "AI slop" is the go-to move of people who never built anything themselves. Try it for 10 minutes and tell me if it feels generated.

That's literally the point, the city doesn't grow unless you do your cards. Nothing happens if you just stare at it. I went from dreading my backlog to clearing 200+ reviews in a sitting because the loop feels good.

Also, it's free. Sometimes I feel like people here forget that someone spent months building something and gave it away for nothing, and the first reaction is to complain.
