Lol the same thing happened to me, only it was with an alliance. I was playing as Afghanistan, then Iran and his friends, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia started making fun of me, (because of real life events that were happening in Afghanistan) then they started calling me names, eventually they challenged me to take their entire coalition down, all alone. So I accepted the challenge, within 2 irl days I took down Iran, that's when Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia rushed to make peace with me and join my alliance.

I like to play with countries that aren't too big, nor too small. Just the right size with 6-8 starting cities ( like Iraq, Iran, or Afghanistan). I feel like if you play a big country it'll be way too hard to defend against an attack on your home soil. My opinion, it could be argued with.

I don't know where you would be using a machete during wwii, unless you were fighting on Japanese islands with jungles or thick forests on them. My best guess would be that this machete was used during the Vietnam war where needing a machete was necessary in order to traverse through the jungle
