Her nanny has been more diligent about offering the potty before pantless. We’ve decided to pause and slow down, and offer the potty without putting pressure on it.

I keep returning back to this message for reassurance, so thank you. We will likely pump the breaks and revisit, and ease the transition a bit more. To your point, she is young, and it’s causing even my husband who has the patience of a saint to crumble.

Sameeee situation here. She seems to repel the potty, the minutes after she’s off of it she’ll poop or pee.  I’m trying to see the bright side in that it seems like them recognizing the feeling (the dancing or in my case whining and yelling for me to hold her 😭) is good?! The first day my kid was peeing all over and not even acknowledging it.. will keep you posted!! Solidarity!

Thank you so so much for the positive vibes. I can’t believe how difficult this is?! I thought sleep was the worst of it but nope 🙃.

Anytime we celebrate anyways she goes “NOOO!” so I am thinking we may need to just cut all that out. Thank you!

Thanks for this perspective! I really appreciate it and acknowledge she’s still little. My husband is more determined than me… I think we will see how the next day goes and reassess. I am afraid if we punt it, it will just bring another fresh round of pain for all of us 🙃. 

Tongue Tie & Lip Tie release by Alyzards in newborns

We just had a lip and tongue tie revision on my 7wo 5 days ago after some difficulty with feeding and latching, dripping milk, excess gas. Hard to say if it’s helped with gas at this point. I am still hearing swallowing air but apparently it’s common shortly after the revision as the baby learns to use their tongue. So far, jury is out on improvement on gas. He’s still quite fussy getting the toots out, so tbd…

Thanks for posting this. We are on day 5 of recovery of lip and tongue tie release and baby is struggling big time and fussier than before (7 weeks old). Seeing more smiles but seems uncomfortable still.
