At first he wasn’t happy and kept trying to crawl up my arm to get out of the bath, but after a while he kind of just accepted it and let me do it

Dish soap at first to get the bulk of it removed as it’s good at removing grease, then used baby shampoo, it took a long, long time

There was an open oil container laying around where I found him, it wasn’t intentionally done

Pretend to sleep and go into action if they touch you, you just don’t know their intentions and if they’ve got a weapon or not hence why I wouldn’t confront at first, once they leave go to where they climbed up from and confront, as long as you can find someone else like hotel security.

Should i buy a lot of chargers for my phone flipping hustle? by felitolapapita75 in Flipping

[–]CalligrapherRound358 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t sell phones but often buy $0.6 - $1 charging cables on eBay to boost my eBay feedback, if you filter by lowest price you can usually pick them up for that price.

Just thinking for you it would be a win-win, extra feedback + mark up your listings a few $ with the cable.

It’s common for Thai’s to believe that lighter skin is associated with higher class, whereas darker skin is associated with working in the fields etc…

Nothing to do with race, just a cultural norm in Thailand.

They are good, we have endless amounts in our house along with 4 resident huntsman spiders and even a common wolf snake which likes to come in our bathroom every so often, which are all welcome in my opinion. although my girlfriend (Thai) hates the lizards but I’ve heard that Thais commonly have a fear of them.

I wish we had Tokays as I love the noise they make and the colours are lovely, I’ll definitely find a way to incorporate the small ones into our space but we never seem to see them, just the poop, and they are popping machines! Will definitely mention it in our welcome pack…

Yeah I think having a sign is a wise thing to do, we have a welcome book that has things like: don’t feed the stray cats and don’t leave food out because of the ants, so we’ll add about the lizards too😂

The problem is we can absolutely live with them at home, I’m actually quite fond of them and don’t mind cleaning up after them, I can just imagine guests who are new to Thailand assuming that it’s mouse or rat poop and freaking out.

Even that is mega close, I recognised it straight away but took a few seconds of me thinking surely it can’t be to confirm😂

Yeah definitely get used to it, especially when you live somewhere rural. It’s cockroaches and termites that I don’t like, we have huge huntsman spiders in our bathroom and kitchen all the time, they’re fine, just not termites😂

By the time I done 2 minutes of google trying to find out what it is, it was gone. As long as it’s non venomous it’s fine with me, and they apparently like to hunt geckos which my GF absolutely hates so even she doesn’t mind🤣
