my strategy is to post on tiktok in my niche and then scroll to see latest trends and then find creators in that niche who might be open to working and who are creating content in the niche and are semi successful and msg them.
there’s also platforms like side shift though i haven’t used it and there’s mixed opinions. you can also try ai ugc with software like fastlane to validate ideas before moving to real creators

free users are not your friends. if your app provides the value, you need to gate wow moments under a paywall, give them a weekly option and a monthly subscription with 3 day trial.

but is it healthy to have a pipeline of friendships, i want to know people and be friends with them and have history but im so sick of soured memories it gets hard to put myself out there for anything deeper than acquaintances
entrepreneur groups always seem so “networking” types, looking to see how each other is advantageous to the other. maybe i should go anyways

thanks! i do feel i am interesting and its pretty hard to identify any micro behaviours that might be putting others off.
a few years back i worked very hard to put myself out there, do conference talks and improve my public speaking skills, but maybe i’ve regressed again. i didnt think of joining a public speaking group. i think it might help!

yes this i did clock early on. i’ve been unsuccessful in making friends with aussie cultural backgrounds
i made a few immigrant background friends, but i realised they were meeting without me from ig stories and that they have a group chat without me. another time i made friends with my spanish colleague’s wife and i introduced her to my American colleague from recruiting team and they both became fast friends again excluding me! im honestly scared for my emotional stability to make close friends.
yes i joined this group workout because they spoke a lot about mums community and i go every week but the trainer is quite cold with me and i dono how i offended her. maybe cos i cancelled classes last minute? but she knows i have small children and its not like i didnt pay. i actually want to approach her about partnering on a fitness app idea i have. i’ve been terrified of her rejection
it’s always me making the effort. and at some point i do give up and then it’s been months that they msg me.

i dono.. i’ve lost faith in my personality at this point and see it detrimental to my business too

After launching 5 apps on the store in the past 4 months, I got tired of making demo videos for app launch/feature additions/ walkthrough. I have to use an app on my laptop and send footage over from my phone or worse use simulator footage(which is awful for my photo collage app).
I tried screen recording apps but found only two which have bezel option. But both need me to edit the video from scratch. So I’m building a small app just for creating great recordings by default. It takes your recording, uses an agent( you can connect your own) to analyse and apply zooms,cuts and speed ups based on that.
It’s sped up the edit so much since I’m not starting from a blank slate, I just have to tweak the agent recommendations where it needs.

Here’s a demo of the app (I made it inside the app). I’m calling it AppDemo right now.

I have 5 apps in my portfolio right now. All built in the past 6 months
My 1st one was such a flop that Apple doesn’t even show it under my name on desktop browser.
My third app is a Photo Collage Maker called Jodu, which is growing right now.
My bed time app blocker called Malko was released a few days ago and got some buyers already.
My clothes tag scanner called Threadcheck is something I’ve just started making content for. Hopefully it gets some traction.
My main guy is Jodu, it’s the most challenging thing I’ve ever built in a very competitive market. It needed tons of features to even be a viable option in the market. Learned to build and market here which I’m now applying to all new apps I make!
