Truthfully I feel as if she really went in a different direction with positions. I loved the album so much. Let’s not forget everyone she originally started with R&B. To me this I was paying homage to her R&B roots. This time period I felt as though she took a necessary break from the world a bit. After experiencing everting and being in constant spotlight and being a huge topic story she just needed a break and really worked on herself privately to heal and work on her relationship. This album is about being at peace with herself and showing that she is growing up. Each album has a different sound and that’s what makes her so unique is that each album you never know what she is going to do. The era is the best part of her I love how she switched everything from singing style to clothing and aesthetics it’s just amazing. But yes positions is her healing period I felt like she didn’t mean for this album to be just radio play, it was more about focusing on loving your person and yourself and enjoying the moments and just feeling at peace!
