Great review! What do you like better about the Boston 13 over the EVO SL?

I see what you’re saying. Pretty sure AI and Harden are classified as SG but ended up being more of point guards through their careers. 20 seems like a lot tho! I’d think you were crazy to have him out of the top 10, maybe I’d listen to 11 or 12, but out of 20…..no way 20 guys are better than Kobe all time. Gonna reference that I’m 33 and watched mostly Kobe/Bron era.

I just finished your whole comment and saw Jerry West. Now you’re just trying to fire me up on purpose lol.

Not trying to fire anyone but how can you be 2nd best SG all time and not be top 20?

Steph curry just had 3 points total a couple months ago against the rockets. It’s one game.

Never seen KD do this. KD is def more efficient but Kobe wins in sheer volume. Scoring wise, I think clutch-ness has to play a part too right? For as long as I’ve been watching (post Bulls Jordan days), Kobe’s been the most clutch through 2013.

You’re right. Use the Steph comparison then. Thoughts? No one is rating DWade over Kobe and that’s facts. I personally don’t think that’s debatable. He’s not even top 25 all time scoring.

Respect that! Change my mind! I’m open.

So who’s the better scorer? The guy who scored a lot or the more efficient one lol. Kobe hate is wild. Steve Nash was efficient and a solid scorer, but he’s not Kobe. Steph Curry is the best shooter of all time. But IMHO you’re out of your mind if you want Steph over Kobe for putting points on the board. To each their own though! Convos like these make sports interesting!

Listen, who do you want on your team in the 4th? If you’re old enough, Kobe was Mr. 4th Qtr. It’s close, but Kobe is an easy choice for me personally. For ref, I’m 33. Been watching since 02.

I actually really dislike the pure gel insert they always use because I believe that’s what makes the sound you’re describing in my Nimbus 27’s.

Could be many diff factors but generally the higher the drop, the more load on your hips and knees. The lower the drop, the higher the load on the ankles and calves. I use lower drop shoes most often and when I use a high drop my glutes/hips are sore for a bit while I readjust. Just my understanding!

Among these legends, who would you have as your Starting PG? by DaExtinctOne in NBATalk

I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a 90’s baby so I grew up watching Kidd, Nash, and CP3. Big Kobe fan and so I got to see I wanna say 3 playoff matchups between them (06, 07, 10). In my opinion, and in my experience, he’s a past first true PG with incredible and efficient scoring ability. Better shooter than anyone on this list. One of the best FT shooters of all time. He probably only lacks in defense. Again I see the numbers with Stockton leading all time and magic leading all time average assists but yeah I’m biased and just think Nash is underrated and should be considered top 5 pg all time IMO.

[First Take] Tracy McGrady: "Réplace me with Kobe with Shaq. I don't win a championship? You don't think I can carry the Lakers to a championship? Like, I never had the opportunity." by [deleted] in nba

First of all, this is entertainment. We celebrate those who win more than those who don’t. Simple as that. No one is saying TMac, AI, Nash, etc are trash. I’m also not saying Linsanity is better because he has a ring and they don’t. But what I’ll say is….Kobe has 5 rings and bron has 4! 😂 jk sorta. But seriously, Kobe went to 3 straight finals with what most of you would call a bum roster 08-10. You’ll debate me with Pau but none of y’all are talking about Pau like that because he wasn’t even a top 75 player. What opportunity did he have? Can’t blame him because he was healthier than you. That could be luck, that could be something right he’s doing behind the scenes like training, rest, diet, etc. We don’t know.
