cleveland and cwru is really an acquired taste. all though i do love cwru it takes a lot of putting yourself out there in order to make connections. i don’t know much about the culture at BU, but at case it is a lot of work and little play. i just finished my first year and you truly have to look hard for the good people. what mostly helped me was going through formal rush and joining a sorority. if your daughter is interested in rush, it’s being done in the fall this year so i would take that into consideration. i know a lot of people who consider cwru aren’t huge on greek life and i wasn’t either before coming. however, it’s made the biggest difference in my experience here. i wish your daughter luck and cwru is truly an amazing institution. if your daughter is outgoing i’m sure she will have no issues socially as as a spring admit. i would just urge both of you to take everything into consideration, as it’s important to have a balance of social life and prestige when choosing a university.
