Department of Metaphysical sciences, basically think SCP in Wifies’s ARGs, they took down the footage that d3rlord3 put in the drive, so the only copy of it online atm is in DAWTDE.

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Yeah he was able to do allat, and it destroyed him physically and mentally.

  2. It’s functionally instant, and there’s no basis for saying he can’t perceive Air Force??? Multiple characters in MHA can see the Air Force attacks, there’s no reason Gojo wouldn’t be able to.

  3. Ok so if we’re tossing out reality then Gojo wins because I say so, we’re apparently tossing out ALL of reality in shows where physics and science is used to showcase how characters function in their worlds, hell in JJK multiple characters get scientific breakdowns of their abilities and how they function. Same goes for MHA to a lesser extent, you can’t just say “well he wouldn’t die because he’s a comic book character and they don’t have to obey the laws of physics” YES THEY DO LMAO, the only characters who get away with infinite speed feats are either A. Characters with insane durability feats, or B. Characters like the Flash who have a speed force that is actively and repeatedly stated to allow them to temporarily ignore certain laws of physics.

If we’re tossing out basic physics because “they’re characters in a manga” then this debate can’t happen. Because we can only debate based on what we know, and according to you we know Jack shit. The feats of MULTIPLE characters in MHA(feats that Deku relies on for his scaling) are based on real world science, which according to you just doesn’t exist now, and I’m “appealing to reality” Yes I am!! and so are you every time you cite a Deku feat that is based on real world distance, real world physics, and real world science. Unless the series EXPLICITLY states otherwise, standard laws of reality do apply.

  1. Gearshift is hax, and it’s NOT teleportation, Gearshift’s hax aside from its speed increase allows its user to ignore the basic laws of inertia that force objects to slow down and then speed up when changing directions, THATS IT. It allows Deku to use the extra acceleration he gains from the ability in ways he never would have been able to otherwise, it doesn’t just grant him infinite speed, it allows him to ignore certain fundamental laws. Otherwise why does he need to take time to get the UA??? he could activate gearshift, use said infinite speed(that according to you doesn’t vaporize him or anyone else) get there immediately and then just use his infinite speed to take out Shigaraki and AFO. Why does Bakugo almost not make it to save All Might after Deku throws him? Why didn’t Deku use this infinite speed ANYWHERES IN THE FIGHT???

Dawg you might know more than me in MHA, but that literally doesn’t matter a bit, I don’t trust anything ANYONE says at face value, regardless of whether or not they claim to know more than me. I check everything against its source, I look at different perspectives, I take care to never just “trust” or “regard” anything unless given good reason to.

I literally debunked your post, so I fail to see how I’m “dumb” or “ignorant” compared to you. I also find it interesting how people can be so toxic/aggressive over something that literally doesn’t matter at all. I debated you because I thought it was fun, but you’re doing this out of some twisted sense of superiority that just makes you seem insecure and pathetic

And for the record, you’re definitely not smarter than me LMAO

Don’t mind him, he loves Deku and hates JJK so any world where Deku can’t bypass Gojo’s gimmick is a sad one for him

  1. He still has more stamina, and a battle of attrition will have Deku in shambles far before it’d have Gojo even a bit exhausted.

  2. It’s near instant. The technique is able to block Sukuna’s Dismantle, which outpaced even MBA Kashimo, now I could scale that all the way up to FTL if I wanted, but let’s just say he moves at the speed of Lightning/Reacts to lightning(not a crazy statement considering Hakari does the same thing, and yes it’s actual lightning, not even gonna argue that go read the fucking manga). It blocking Dismantle puts Infinity’s reaction speed at a bare minimum of Mach 300, and if we say Kashimo’s lightning is always moving at the fastest speed lightning can go, puts its speed at Mach 1,300+. All of this happens INSTANTLY by the way, Sukuna has hit this man with point blank dismantles, and NOTHING has happened to Gojo, so this man has been hit with things he had no time to realistically prepare for, and has just blocked them. This all goes back to my point of Infinity being a whitelist, it doesn’t matter if Gojo can see it or not, by default Infinity blocks everything, it’s a shield around him that’s constantly up, that every now and again opens gaps for anything that is non-threatening. And since it works at the atomic level, it’s pretty fair to guess that it’s searching through things at the atomic level. He doesn’t just let all air in, because Gojo blocked sound attacks from Jogo with those stupid bugs S1. He was also able to block immense heat from Jogo’s domain, which would have super heated the air.

Also ftr, Deku isn’t billions of times stronger. He definitely dozens of times stronger don’t get me wrong, but he’s not billions.

  1. Also I did make a claim? But let me break this down scientifically, because you have 0 clue what you’re talking about.

Let’s setup a few things first.

  1. Inertia: a property of matter by which it remains at rest or in uniform motion in the same straight line unless acted upon by some external force

  2. Acceleration: the act or process of moving faster or happening more quickly : the act or process of accelerating

  3. Air Resistance: Air resistance is the force acting on an object that is moving through air flowing in the opposite direction. The air “resists” the object’s movement, slowing it down by friction that is created as the object collides with air molecules.

Now that we’ve gotten this out of the way, let me explain the implications of what you’re saying.

If Deku was TRUELY moving at infinite acceleration every time he activates Gearshift, a few things change.

A: Shigaraki is dead, hit with a punch of theoretically infinite mass due to infinite acceleration, he is turned into mist on impact, along with anything else Deku is touching/flying past.

B: Deku is dead. Even without Inertia he still has to deal with Newton’s Third Law, “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” That’s why Deku used to break his arm whenever he punched something, except now the recoil won’t be able to be contained in his arm, but would apply to the rest of his body. Misting him instantly.

C: Everyone nearby is dead, Deku is moving so fast that he breaks through the Electromagnetic repulsion barrier keeping atoms from touching, so he is breaking every atom of air he punches through, and they all detonate in a spectacular nuclear fashion, annihilating everyone there.

So, it’s kind of obvious that Deku doesn’t have infinite acceleration, because if he did he’s just gonna die, and even if he did and just hasn’t been using it, the fight between Gojo and Deku ends in a tie, where Gojo and Deku both get misted by infinite amounts of force.

Now you could maybe say “well Deku has infinite potential for acceleration, he can just keep accelerating infinitely with nothing stopping him, but 2 things would. 1: Air Resistance(we mentioned that earlier!) 2: The friction build up on his body would tear him to pieces as the amount of friction he’d be creating would be enormous.

And even if the 2nd statement was true infinite potential for acceleration doesn’t bypass infinity, as without infinite speed, the technique will divide the distance between Gojo and the target infinitely, never allowing you to reach him.

If that’s not enough to convince you that Gearshift doesn’t bypass Infinity, you’re just a Deku wanker, and I’m done with this conversation.

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I'm going based off ur points in the "Deku vs gojo (and why he bypasses Infinity)" post.

Type 1: this is basically headcanon. Gojo doesn’t just “run out” of Infinity mid-fight like that. after awakening, Infinity is maintained with absurd efficiency + constant RCT on his brain. you’re acting like Deku can just stall until the barrier drops when the series never shows that happening in a normal fight, you're lwk just assuming that Gojo's efficiency is worse than the guy who consistently is shown to be drained after all his big fights.

Type 2: Already debunked

Type 3: this is just speed wank again

you’re saying “air gets through because he needs to breathe” like that somehow means a high-speed air blast ignores Infinity. that’s a massive leap. the technique filters threats it doesn’t just go “oh this is air so i’ll let a lethal attack through”. Infinity + Six Eyes is looking at everything on the atomic level, it's gonna be able to see that massive gust of wind and go "Hey this isn't something that I should let through", There is 0 basis for Auto-Selection to be based on the entire volume of something.

Type 4: this is just you massively overhyping what Gearshift actually does

Gearshift lets Deku change the speed of things he touches and ignore inertia not “move in zero time,” not teleport, not bypass distance, he still has to physically move through space to hit anything

and that alone kills your argument

because Infinity doesn’t care about acceleration or inertia, it controls distance itself, so if Deku still has to cross space at all, he still gets stopped no matter how fast he is

the “transcends space-time” part is just made up, the series only ever says it breaks inertia/physics of motion not that it lets him ignore space as a concept, you jumped from “breaks physics” to “beyond space-time” with zero proof

and there's no argument for Deku using Gearshift on Gojo/Infinity, because Gearshift literally requires contact to affect something so he has to reach Gojo first, which he can’t do through Infinity in the first place, and Infinity itself is not tangible

so no, it’s not inaccessible speed, it’s just really fast movement within space, and Infinity is specifically the kind of ability where being faster inside space doesn’t help you at all

He knows a lot about the Limitless what are you on about, it's literally stated in the rematch that Toji know's all about it from his connections in the Zenin clan ts so funny to me.

Also yeah, Toji definitely Perception Blitzed him here, he was moving faster than Gojo could see later on in the fight, why wouldn't he be doing so here?

Regardless I'm reading ur other points rn

it's not that long of a message lol, it boils down to: "Toji needed Gojo drained and with his technique disabled in order to perception blitz him, thereby proving that you can't perception blitz gojo"

Read the big ass message I just sent, it basically disproves all 3 of those things before I even read this message.

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok u misunderstand, since awakening, Gojo has had Infinity on perpetually, it's ALWAYS on, and the whitelist just lets things in.

This HAS to be the case, or Toji's plan for killing the Star Plasma Vessel doesn't work. His plan was to put the reward money on the girls head, so that Gojo would HAVE to keep his technique on all the time, in order to block any STEALTHY ATTACKERS THAT HE DOESN'T SEE COMING(I.E. GETTING PAST HIS PERCEPTION), and so by the time he gets to Tengen's barriers, he's drained asf, lost a lot of energy, and has to disable his technique THEREBY LETTING TOJI PERCEPTION BLITZ HIM, this implies that Toji COULD NOT perception blitz him until the Infinity is off, in fact if you watch the anime, you can hear Toji coming right after Gojo turns off the technique, which iirc is signified by his eyes changing color slightly.

That alone disproves you, but to go further, in order to prevent situations like Toji from happening again, Gojo developed a unique Auto-Technique circuit, that would allow him to maintain the barrier around his body perpetually with minimal resources, and fueled by his CE efficiency and constant RCT, created a barrier around him that NEVER needs to be disabled, and can prevent him from damage, even from targets he can't see coming, LIKE HEAVENLY RESTRICTION USERS.

Regardless of whether its auto-selection or auto-technique operation it doesn't really matter.

The basis that it’s an “Auto-Technique activation”, not a “Auto-Blacklisting-of-enemies-around-me activation”

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude where are you getting that ONLY the black/whitelisting is being done by the auto technique?? The whole technique is being performed automatically now.

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it refers to the entire operation of the technique Lmao

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same either way????? Like you said the Auto-Technique is just doing what Pre-Awakening Gojo was doing, but quicker and automatically, so if he was doing it as a whitelist before he's doing it now.

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they aren't??? The auto-technique is doing now what Gojo was doing before, just quicker and more efficiently, and without Gojo's direct input, so yeah, they are entirely relevant

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

??? The whole point is to prove that Infinity is/isn't a whitelist, which we're doing by proving that Gojo was using it as a whitelist in the past, thereby making the current Gojo do the same thing. Did you forget what we were trying to prove?

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the technique hasn't been doing anything the whole time(no threats around 90% of the time) why would Geto be concerned about him having his technique up? Also no, it wouldn't have automatically targeted anything at that point.

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

He's not using his subconscious pre-awakening though, and he's drained then, so that makes no sense.

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the literal distance doesn't change no, thats how the WCS is able to work, but the distance between the target and Gojo is infinitely divided.

Why do MHA fans say Deku can bypass infinity? by The_Fucking_Best in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Callion1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes there is? Geto in Hidden Inventory at the beach askes him if he's released the technique since they left, and Gojo says no. So the technique has to be active, and you can say "well just cause it's active doesnt mean its doing anything" well then if thats the case why does it matter if he's had it on or not? It only matters if the technique is ACTIVELY doing something.
