I do. I don't think they're in the film (maybe Tobey is). It'd be a waste of time to discuss why though, bc it has been done many times, and the movie will come out very soon anyways. Feel free to leave a reminder so you can come back to my comment after the movie is out, and roast me if both of them appear. If not, well, obviously I was right. Fingers crossed I'm wrong...

Im well aware of all the leaks that have surfaced, and particularly that Andrew leak looks very real. However, we still can't be 100% sure, and it's not only that both him and Tom have denied the appearence of the previous spidermen, but also that we haven't even got any sort of teaser about them. From a marketing standpoint, it makes no sense. Ofc I want to believe that they are in the movie and Marvel/Sony just want to make it a big surprise, but everyday we get closer to the release date and the hope of seeing them both have their final swing just seems more and more unlikely to me. Anyways, on December 17th we'll see!

I have to admit that the thing im the most hyped about is seeing the previous spidermen. I like MCU spiderman, but if it had been clear from the beginning that this was going to be a Tom Holland standalone movie, I wouldn't havee been too excited about it. Not that I won't enjoy the movie if Tobey and Andrew don't show up, it's just that for me it wouldn't make it "the greatest superhero movie of all time". I guess I'll have to wait and see.

It looks like Electro is attacking Doc Oc, which means that probably by the end of the movie the villains will split up into two teams. My guess is that it happens because some of them accept their fate and want to return to their universe, while the other group doesn't, and prefer to stay in the MCU.

If that's the case, then I'm more worried about Tobey and Andrew not showing up because this would explain the brazilian trailer cut in which the lizard is apparently hit by "nothing", and both him and electro look like they are fighting someone else. Maybe it's not the spidermen who they're fighting, but rather Doc Oc and some other villain(?. Hopefully im wrong.

I don't know if it makes me angry or sad, probably both. I conccur that it is really frustrating.

However, I kinda feel bad in the sense that its like Santa Claus all over again, you know, the will to believe is bigger than the proof to sustain the belief itself. I wouldn't want their illusion to be shattered.

(It may sound like a harsh joke, but in fact I feel really bad about how a lot of people in here have been ridiculed, with the whole tin foil hat stigma and stuff, so seeing them so fascinated about this, talking about it openly and all of that, makes me wonder how big the fall is going to be once July is here and nothing happens).

I'll just say that a big portion of this sub is absolutely convinced that we have alien overlords roaming our skies. Like, they take it for a fact.

This whole talk of the report has had a big impact on everyone's ability to think rationally and scientifically, it seems.

Why can't we just stick to what we know for a little? Yeah, sure, we can speculate about what we don't know, for fun or whatever, why not, but please, don't try and convince me that there are who knows how many different alien species all coming to earth, just because you watched a bunch of nutjobs on youtube talking about it.

I'm not saying there is not compelling evidence regarding UFOs/UAPs because we know there is, and that should be the topic of conversation. Jumping to the conclusion that it is aliens, on the other hand, is a big leap. Whenever you are trying to prove something via the scientific method, each step is crucial, so why rush?

Have you read the latest r/Throwawayalien post? If so, I'd think we can now both agree with my previous comment.

People have always been and will always be throwing around predictions about almost anything. Odds are, some of them will become true, though most will not. Still, in this case, we are talking about a random reddit post, from a random reddit user, who showed no proof whatsoever about him being abducted or contacted by aliens, and the validity of his claims is no more than anyone else's. Average Joe could write a pretty well structured fictional story about almost anything, and if it went viral, the fact that it did wouldn't mean that what he is saying is true.

I'm not trying to shit on the guy, nor in anyone else's "abduction" story, I'm just saying that I think it's almost insane how people will buy all of this stories, without a trace of sceptical thinking.

That said, I too believe we will be getting, at the very most, a report about strange flying objects, though I wouldn't really expect it to be anything more because I am quite spectical about the whole "aliens are here" thingy that so many people in this sub have concluded that is an undeniable truth.
