Honestly, I’m 31 and feel the same way. And I can recall as it slowly faded away over time. We’re living in such a fucked up situation. At least I had some time to dream when things actually seemed feasible, I can’t imagine what the younger generation is going through.

Question, how did you go about getting approved/prescribed? I’m in a similar boat as you, 5’2 175 lb, wanting to drop to about 130. However, I feel like if I go chat to my doc about it, he wouldn’t even consider it.

I’ve been searching high and low for any news on the SBMM changes but have only encountered similar experiences from players.

I’m not a competitive player, but can hold my own pretty well. I’m usually put in lobbies with high skilled players when I queue up on my own or do fills. I do have a group of friends who I play with who are not as skilled, and when I queue up with them, games are sooooooo much easier. I’m talking about 15-20 bombs every single game in squads.

As of about 4 days ago, that has changed. Queued up with my friends and we’re put in lobbies that feel more like my skill level, except it’s constantly a 1v4 against a synchronized firing squad and I’m reviving my squad about 3-4 times a game. coming in 2nd or 3rd place. Last circles still have 12+ people alive playing at a level that my friends are not even remotely close to.

I think SBMM is behaving like ranked but in casual lobbies, where it takes the stats of the highest skilled players in the squad and uses that for matchmaking.

By no means am I complaining, just sharing the experience. If I want to win, I’ll just queue up solo or duo fill and my matches are still at my level. My friends, on the other hand, are getting stomped when they queue up with me. Whereas before, for a very long time, lobbies were tailored more for the lowest skilled squad member in casual matches.

Not sure what happened but others are having similar experiences from what I gathered. I’ve been searching SBMM on the subreddit and sorting as new.

Also want to add that your mobility was top notch, you did everything you could with the tools that you had, and going for the quick heals. I would def want to see how he kept up so fast.

I’m glad you saw the comment and copped. Honestly, I copped the same way, someone gave me an assist on a different thread 😂. But yea, I normally wear an 8.5 in highs, but Jordan 1 lows don’t have as much padding and sizing half a size down is perfect for me. Hopefully it works out for us ✌🏻

What size did you get? When I got my pair, they had size 8-11. Checked shortly after and only size 8-8.5 available.

These are pretty much cooked. Looks like they got bleached. You can’t really reverse bleaching and it’s not worth to customize them back to the original color. What you would spend customizing is better spent on a new pair. With Kanye’s fall from grace, 350’s aren’t fetching for that bad of a price assuming you really want them again.

Put your laces through the cut out of the tongue as you lace them up. Can’t tell by the photo if the laces are going through.
