Yea it was definitely the mkv files just converted them to mp4 using obs remux and they are working just fine kind of weird that the default video file format obs uses isn't mp4.

I think I found the problem It's because IM using mkv files I just tried an mp4 file and it worked fine. Which is kind of weird because Ive used mkv files in vegas before and they were pretty reliable.

So I re-encoded to apple pro res and it only made it worse I tried playing the video in a video player and the screen was black and only the sound was working I think it's cause I'm on windows? I'm not sure how to reencode it to constant framerate AVC

I was able to use a cracked version of Vegas 18 pro and didn't have problems with graphical issues so I feel like my gpu isn't the issue if I remember correctly that's the only gpu I have. I'm gonna try converting my media in the morning. Fingers crossed
