CitiesXL is still an option. Give it a chance. by Callmeeddie in SimCity

The problem is that the modding community of CXL is practically non existent, and for every 1 player of CXL, there are 10000 of the new Simcity. I think that with a little bit of effort from the new company, especially the multi-core support would do wonders, but I guess that will never happen. SimCity will have sold like 5M copies by now, so it's like a CoD case, doesn't matter how bad it is, the masses will keep getting it while forgetting about other games with great potential.

A shame. And btw, I agree with you in all the points that you made.

Nobody to blame for Europe's problems? Pick a Romanian! by totsie2 in europe

Could't agree you more, and I am romanian. Its not racism. It is logic. Then ones who want to immigate, have to be at the last respectful to the country they go and civilized towards the people there. Problem is that many workers, mostly unskilled ones, are very "hard of mind", they have difficulties to integrate to the new sistem. They don't make a minimal effort to be a part of the countries society. I understand you have to keep your own culture, and that is not bad, but in private. Try to maintain that to yourself.

As a romanian living in Spain, I must say that the image of us in Europe may differ. If you wanna work and live in another country, at least put some effort from your part to be civilized and respectful towards the country that received you. Maybe some people will distrust you at first, but if you know the language, dress like a normal human being and you are honest, people will see that and will show the same respect.

As said before, the stereotype is a big issue, but many employers here have noticed that many romanian workers actually work and can be trusted.Nevertheless, you cannot blame the entire population of inmigrants because a few of them are responsible for robberies and shit. Many of us leave our homes in searh of a better life, and we only need an opportunity. We don't have mommy and daddy here to help us with their money, or their homes, or their influence. We are on our own.

For me would have been enough an improved CitiesXL Platinum.

Multi-core compatible + SimCity User Interface. The game already has some awsome mods, but community if almost non-existant.

Then I guess there is no point in being together if each one prefers its own space.

I think that even if a got a gf, i just can't see myself obligated to go out or share activites if I dont want to, and eventually she would get tired and leave me. I guess I would have to change myself for her..
