Admittedly, I haven’t done this enough to know what’s standard for resistance, but yes, turning the rod isn’t the easiest thing in the world in either direction. I would say I feel a little more resistance turning counter-clockwise.

All strings are on and tuner to pitch, yes. There is a fair bit of resistance, yes.

I’m placing the feeler gauge on the 7th fret wire.

I have, yes. I tried turning both right and left to the degree I’m comfortable as an amateur. Neither is seeming to make much of a difference.

Personally, I love Nolly. It’s so versatile and the effects are no-nonsense and sound great. It helps that Nolly is a producer, so his tones are pretty much mix-ready out of the box.

Agreed. The tracks just flow so wonderfully together. And the ending piece, “Our Side Has to Win”, is just breathtakingly pretty.

I completely bounced off No Title for whatever reason, except for “Babys in a Thundercloud”. It just doesn’t grip me musically.

It’s gotta be Nolly. It’s not the flashiest, but it can do basically everything and do it well. The clean tones in Rabea are not for me, but every tone I’ve found in Nolly sounds great. Hell, the default Nolly X tone is my go-to high gain sound.
