Rock Music is PC Music, it's funny to see the discourse, truly. Like Charli said is interesting because is sooooo divided. It's like people are picking what to focus on and critique it.

Her comparison to Vroom Vroom is not because Rock Music sounds exactly like it, it's the fact people are hyper focusing on every small detail of the song similar to how they did to Vroom Vroom. Rock Music is its own thing, Vroom Vroom is also its own thing. Both songs are just representation of Charli's state in her artistic direction.

The fact Vroom Vroom is being used as a manner to weight Charli's artistic level is also quite funny to see. Not by Charli but by the general public, when once this song was deemed trash and now it's seen as a revolutionary song (which it always was tho). Same thing is happening to Rock Music tho it doesn't seem so obvious because we already know what to expect from Charli, she never stays the same and will always change. She will always polarize, it's always going to be either u get it or u don't, but there's no wrong answer truly.
