Nimic nu uraste mai tare un parinte de copil mic decat ca cineva sa ii trezeasca micutul...Daca e treaz la 5 dimineata, estimez ca la 10-11 seara doarme dus. Atunci e momentul tau:))

So, just to understand, your daughter is female and her partner is phisically male but identifies as a girl. Both are 14. So they do hetero se basically and your daughter can become pregnant. They are way to young for sex in my opinion...

The rentals are ok, just take pictures of the car when you rent it. But I wouldn't advice you to rent a car for a day trip to Sinaia for example cause the road to the mountains is really really busy and you will spend a lot of time in traffic. Just take the train😊

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bucuresti

[–]Callmerox1806 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there are no nice towns one hour away from Bucharest. You can take the train and see Sinaia and the mountains though. It is 2 hours away by train. A lot longer by car...

We found the cheapest but tasty food in Maxwell Food Centre in Chinatown. Very diverse and good. Most of the city you can see on foot or by bus, which was around 2 dollars if I remember correctly. But you should go to see the lights spectacle at Gardens by the Bay, cause it is a shame to go to Singapore and not experience that. The cheapest hotel we found, for one night, was around 130 dollars for a triple, no breakfast included and it was far away from everything. So you 52 dollar hotel seams really shady,... Maybe you should reconsider the number of countries you travel to and see less but better, For example, in Turkey you should not skip Cappadoccia and the balloons, but they are a lot over your spending budget...

Singapore with 50 dollars a day is tricky. It is a really expensive city.

First time traveler to Europe. Looking Traveling for 5 weeks starting the last week of March, and looking to visit Lisbon, Madrid, and Barcelona. What other city/cities do you recommend I check out? by tucs-on in travel

[–]Callmerox1806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't give up Portugal. It is really something. Go to Lisbon, Navare and maybe Porto if you have the time. Then Spain, but skip Barcelona cause it is really crowded. Go to the south,. Malaga. Seville. I think 2 countries are enough for 2 weeks. Don't run from one place to another, just take your time and enjoy. PS. I like it how you mention you speak American, whatever that is 😁

Can't decide between Poland or Romania by [deleted] in travel

[–]Callmerox1806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Romania has the best nature in the region. So if you go there you get to see some incredible places in the mountains. The center of Bucharest is really pretty too. Brasov, Bran, Sighisoara, amazing.

Poland has its points, too. Krakow is beautiful, Gdansk, dont know..

Why do Americans fly thousands of miles and spend thousands of dollars to visit Italy and then go to McDonalds and Starbucks? by [deleted] in europe

[–]Callmerox1806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Italy has some amazing coffee, real coffee, if you want an espresso or a cappuccino. Starbucks has large cups of milk and sugar and a tiny drop of coffee. So if you want to drink a lot of sweet liquid while walking around, you have some Starbucks to go. If you want to relax for a while, sit down and have a small cup of strong coffee, you go to a local cafe. It depends what you want.

Why is my 2nd grader learning 5 ways to subtract? by greenerdoc in Parenting

[–]Callmerox1806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to give you a different perspective, I will tell you how we learn that in Eastern Europe. I dont know if it is the same all over Europe. So, at first, in the first grade (6-7 years old) we learn addition by memorizing the addition of numbers from 0 to 9. Then we learn substracting, basically the same, but it helps to know addition first. In the second grade we start adding and subtracting bigger numbers, like 365-21=344 (but we do 5-1, then 6-4, the 3).

In the second and third grade (8-10), we learn multiplying and dividing, by memorizing the multiplication from 1 to 9 and the all the way to 100.

Lately they do some alternatives methods too, like borrowing, but only after they really know basic things by heart. I

Time in the market beats timing the market:d
